Just an update to my posts on the last page, after contacting tech@officialpaisleypark.com, the email address indicated on my paypal receipt, I finally got an email update a day later that my item was shipped.

Never received any response to my questions about the shipment on any of the what ended up being 4 emails sent, so I can't say if they finally sent the books because of the message I sent or it was just a coincidence. Regardless, I'm just happy they are finally on their way. And even happier that the shipping was so suspiciously cheap. . And also happy that I paid via paypal prior to our crappy CDN dollar dropping another like 2.5 cents!

There was a note that someone asked the folks at Paisley Park about the shipping. They were really overwhelmed with the orders that poured in when these went on sale, so it took them a few days to catch up and get them out. I would imagine that perhaps the Celebration put a dent in turnover time as well. (However, I have to consider that the shipping department is separate from party planners.)

I had bought the tamboracca and after about 2 weeks of nothing, I emailed them and it was shipped the next day. Sometimes I think they need a little nudge. I should have just bought it at PP, but when I ordered it I wasn't sure if they would have them in stock. They are horrible about answering emails.

I seem to remember that PP said they'd be doing international shipping soon. So unless you can arrange a payment and delivery deal with a fellow U.S.-based Prince fan, you might just have to wait it out. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid.

It's probably actually on the movie. Mine was "stuck" in Des Moines, Iowa for days until yesterday and suddenly it's 50 miles away in Massachusetts. Then on my door this morning. So sometimes there is a pause in updating. It could simply be on a truck the last time it was checked in somewhere. Once it's scanned again, it'll update. But it's not a live tracker like "It's on I-90 east headed to Chicago, oops they just passed a dead deer" sorta thing. Minnesota was just the last place it was scanned.

PS I plan to leave the site up indefinitely, so feel free to spread the word to those who might not see this thread.

If I ever order something else from PP, I'll do a vid for it.

Just watched your video and wanted to comment that the hardcover tourbook is different than the other tourbook, the purple one with on the front cover. It has pics of Paisley Park also, but more pics of Prince from different eras.

I'm glad you did this video; I really enjoyed looking at the books. They look great. I won't be buying them at this time because I have too many books and will probably be moving in the near future but it was nice to look at your's. Thanks for sharing.

I hope they do remember at some point that South America exists...

I received the books at the beginning of the week.

Let me be at least one of the voices here to praise PP. It's an amazing package, with super cheap delivery, and an all round excellent service. THE BOOKS ARE AMAZING and a treasure trove of Princely information.

The fact that you had to qualify where Denmark is, might be part of the problem.

I was going to do one with my 11 year old boy, but he would have been all 'whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' so I didn't bother.

The Paisley Park book looks ... underwhelming. Would love to have seen more photos from inside the building. It is not soley a recording studio.
