No wonder why Kirk didn't want to talk, they found multiple perscriptions under his name...

The only scripts in Kirk's name were the ones written by Dr. S on 4-7-16.

Dr. S verified Kirk's statement that it was written in his name to protect P's privacy.

The police cannot find any other scripts in Kirk's name.

I thought they found one on the 20th and that was the lie he was caught in. Saying the 20th was the only time he ever picked up scripts for P's when they found an Rx from the 7th in his name.

He never stopped working and I believe he might have been managing the withdrawals because it did not stop him from working but if he had pain he would have to continue to take them in some form to get around like he did.

Withdrawals cause vomiting and stomach pain but he got on planes and travelled as far as Australia and stayed down their longer than he was suppose to. You cannot perform on stage by yourself while needing to go the bathroom and vomit.

Hence the strong medication for nausea.

They don't have any either.

Jennifer Matesa did she know him because even people who had casual encounters with him not employees said they never saw him high.

The butler at the Rio cleaned his room and said he never saw anything. Too many not on his payroll are saying he never acted high. I honestly think he has a script for this stuff and just wanted to get off of them and went about in the wrong manner.

The search warrant said he has a history of withdrawal.

Is that coming from the associates who are telling lies or the doctor. Also how far back is history. A year or 20 years. I am not saying the warrent is wrong but the word history can mean different things to different people.

I also understand why he left Moline if he was already seeing Dr. S.

The point is he was already work ing on this problem with a doctor and that was never hidden information from the very begining of the investigation.

I don't know Laura, The search warrant doesn't lie, but I'm like you it doesn't say which associate and it did say the associates were making frantic calls and texting. It also said the associates stories weren't consistant.

Just repeating what was in the warrant. Word. For. Word.

The search warrantsays that Prince recently had a history..

Yes.

.

It says it more than once: 'Prince had a recent history of withdrawals'.

.

So, that begs the question - why a recent history of withdrawals? Had he been taking medication a long time and something happened with his health that meant he had to try to come off as a matter of urgency?

.

This might still tie in with the liver damage so many of us have discussed before - if he was managing fine with his pain meds, why the sudden need to come off them - and the subsequent struggles with withdrawal (and all the horrible side-effects of that) and overdose(s)? Unless he had developed a condition which was contraindicative to continuing with pain meds? What changed in his life that meant he suddenly felt the need to come off pain medication that KJ said he was taking for 'hip pain' (a condition which seems to go back a LONG time)?

.

I know we keep going round in circles, BUT:
a) we keep being told we don't know the whole story;

b) his appearance seemed to change rather rapidly during the course of the last year of his life;

c) he was doing / saying unusual things from 2014 onwards that seemed to point to an acceptance of imminent demise (making peace with people / making cryptic announcements at concerts / starting an autiobiography / planning a museum / signing away his music to WB's overseas department in perpetuity);

d) his sister said she had two years to prepare.

Agree. There's really nothing in the warrants to suggest he had cancer. Or any other terminal illnes for that matter.

Exactly nobody does. And I don't get the impression these search warrants say anything that those who weren't deeply immersed in this didn't already know.

The dates in the search warrants are screwed up.

But they did say they did a search under the MN Monitoring Program, and only one script in Kirk's name was found.

He did not act high, because he was not high. People who are addicted to pain pills can lead very functional lives and don't take pills to get high. They have jobs, and families, but they need to keep on taking the pills. If they don't, they get sick with the shakes, nausea, fever. This sounds familiar. The man had a problem with pills. Clearly and sadly.

We've been told he was taking the meds for hip pain - a condition which seems to have plagued P for many, many years...The assumption may be, therefore, that he had been taking pain medications for quite some time.

.
Don't forget also - we do have comments from associates (Tavis Smiley, Sheila E) which say he took pain pills - legitimately - to combat the issues caused by years of hard grind on his bones.
.

Plus, there seems to be the implication from Mayte that he took pills - although one can't be certain for what reason in her accounts - she makes sure to emphasise not ever seeing him take the pills, although the evidence was there...

The warrants make it sound as if the doctor intentionally wrote them for Prince, using KAJ's name to help Prince keep it private. I'm not an expert on this, but it would seem Dr. S would be the one with legal exposure for that, if true, not necessarily KAJ.

There were about 100 Watson 853/Hydrocodone pills found in various locations throughout PP. Prince died from taking pills marked Watson 853 but in actuality were Fentanyl. I just want to make sure this fact does not get lost in this talk about anxiety and withdrawal medication.

Forgive me if I'm missing what you're saying, as I haven't been monitoring this stuff that much recently... are you suggesting that Dr. S was treating Prince for cancer?

To the extent helpful to some of your topics, one of the unsealed warrants says that the DEA conducted a Minnesota Prescription Drug Monitoring warrant, and the results showed no prescriptions issued to Prince, and one to KAJ (4/14 by Dr. S for oxycodone).

In addition, the doctor in Moline says that Prince was treated for opiate overdose. Prior to Prince's death, KAJ told Andrew C that Prince was struggline with opiate addiction. Dr. S also told investigators he saw Prince twice, both in April 2016. All of that is in the warrants.

Help me understand your theory if I'm not understanding...

I am not saying Prince was not addicted to these meds. I have never said that in fact it was never hidden from the very beginning that he was seeing Dr. S from withdrawals which I said was weird since he was so private and this infor was thrown out almost immediatly.

I am saying that a lot of things do not add for just pain med addictions.

Why was he taking them in the first place?

How long has he been taking them?

Why the sudden need to get off of them which is very dangerous?

How was even able to travel and work while going thru withdrawals?

Why was he seeing Dr. S when he had no background for addictions and withdrawals.

Why was doctor S continuing to prescirbe pain meds to someone who is suppose to be withdrawing and how come Dr. S has not been charged with the crime of writing an Rx for someone who did not need the Rx. Why is Dr. S off the hook?

Why are associates being evasive when we knew from the begining what he was seeing Dr. S for?

Does anyone realize what these pain meds can do to your organs? Why was Prince crying at the Jazz fest concert and talking about I got to go.?

How much withdrawal can you through for two years?

And what does his sister mean she knew two years ago? Why is Tidal saying he gave POA to someone ( not saying Tidal could not be telling a tell)? Why would every album have different terms in the WB deal some giving WB licensing rights forever?

What was going on with the black clothes?

A lot of questions.

Also find it hard to believe that Tyka would be just letting him die from a drug addiction for 2 years. She seemed resigned to his death happening as if there was nothing to be done.

Indeed.

.
At the end of the day, the prescription medications - no matter who prescribed them and to whom - were not the drugs responsible for his death. THAT was caused by the fake Watsons. So, the question remains - who procured them? Prince himself, in the guise of Peter BraveStrong, or somebody else? And who supplied them? And WHY - if he was taking so many prescription meds, did he need yet MORE painkillers?

.

I took the prescribed dosage of xanax for years for anxiety and to help me sleep and eventually I became physically addicted to it. It took me by surprise, and probably what happened to Prince. Luckily it was easy to get weaned off the xanax with minimal discomfort but it's more difficult with opiates and help just arrived a few hours too late for P and that is what is so tough to take.

Before anybody gets it more twisted. Here is exactly what the warrant says. We need to be specific and NOT leave out details, otherwise it's just more misinformation.

Well let's hope it does not. He had a lot of these pills and the Dr. even prescribed some pain meds for him under Kirk's name and it was not for Fentenyl. I do not believe for one minute he knew he was taking that stuff and the police do not either.
