before everyone gets too excited that we're all going to be able to browse his medical records on Monday:

-

"The HIPAA Privacy Rule protects the individually identifiable health information about a decedent for 50 years following the date of death of the individual. "

-

https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa...dividuals/

We are not going to see the medical records that info will redacted. We will get to see who they spoke to as a part of the investigation.

The way that I'm interpreting to announcement is that we are going to see the search warrants only, not the documents that they got as a result of the search warrants.

From what the articles state, they are unsealing the "search warrant".
No reason to disrespect and call folks names.

A court document says a doctor prescribed oxycodone for Prince under the name of the musician's friend to protect his privacy. Prince was 57 when he was found alone and unresponsive in an elevator at his Paisley Park home on April 21. Autopsy results showed he died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, a synthetic drug 50 times more powerful than heroin. According to search warrants unsealed Monday, authorities searched Paisley Park, cellphone records of Prince's associates, and Prince's emails to try to determine where he got the fentanyl that killed him. The documents suggest Prince was struggling with prescription opioid addiction. One affidavit says Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg admitted he prescribed oxycodone for Prince in a Prince's associate's name "for Prince's privacy." A message left with Schulenberg's attorney wasn't immediately returned.

See how the media gets shit all turned around. They found the pills on the first search and they appear to be all labeled Watson 385 a pill that was discountined some time ago and if they were the reall thing and expired they would not have been doing too much for him.

This is the reason they are calling it accidental.

Recovery without walls literature so we now know this was not an intervention he knew about this place and probaly knew someone was coming to see him.

Kirk is the name on the pill bottle and now I cannot figure out why he has not been interviewed but I can understand why he has an attorney who specializes in enabler cases because that is what his role is starting to look like.

Also cannot understand why he was allowed to leave the area if they saw his name on that bottle.

More wows this is the reason that they have not gone after Kirk. I stand corrected on that.

but Dr. S is free and still working as a physician so he must have a medical reason for prescribing oxycodone if not he is in a tremendous amout of trouble but he is still free and working.

Very strange. eek

Releasing this information helps who exactly? All it's going to do is make fans more upset/sad/confused and all it's going to do is create more gossip and speculation. I think it's a sad, sad day. sad

I don't care. What good does this do. It's not filling in all the blanks, all it's doing is causing more speculation and gossip. I'm sure the Daily Fail and other tabloids will have a field day with this and Prince junkie stories will be all over the place. Congrats.

Not only was Kirk's name on the bottle but the warrant requesting (cell phone dump from AT&T) stated that the reason for wanting the phone records is because it was discovered that not only was Prince alone but there is no security presence at Paisley Park nor is

there any video surveillance. (why would video surveillance have been off/not working? mad )

The warrant also states Investigators have been searching for the source of the controlled substances found in Prince's residence.

Through this investigation, interviews with those who were at Paisley Park the morning Prince was found

deceased have provided inconsistent and, at times, contradictory statements.

'On April 20, 2016, Johnson went to a Minnetonka Walgreens to pick up Prince's medication. He later told police that was the first time he had done anything like that for Prince.

A suitcase was discovered next to Prince's bed on April 21, 2016 (the day of Prince's death) and among the items inside, there were prescription pill bottles in Johnson's name -- none of which were the medication prescribed by Schulenberg.

One pill bottle, which was labeled Vitamin D, instead had the controlled substance Ondanselron Hydrochloride inside. Another, labeled Ondansetron, contained the controlled substance Acetarninophen/oxycodone hydrochloride.

The date those pills were prescribed to Johnson, according to the pill bottles, was April 7. The prescribing doctor was listed as Schulenberg'.

.

So, if I am reading this correctly, KJ lied to the police?

I am curious therefore as to why authorities are not taking this further..?

He lied and Dr. S said he wrote those Rxs for Kirk to protect P's privacy.

So Prince may have needed these Rxs and the doc was doing the right thing but going about it the wrong manner. Or the doc was being paid to do it but the Dr. is still working at another clinic and if he could show their was a medical reason to prescribe he would be in the clear some what.

Not sure why Kirk lied he would have to know about April 7th because I doubt the pharmacy would have given Prince the Rxs if they were in Kirk's name. Someone had to sign for them.

Take it further for?
Lying isn't great but he didn't inject drugs into Prince. I'm assuming he was the go-between. I will say there is a string 50% chance that Kirk knows where the fetnayl was purchased.

Started reading... Kirk definitely was or is on the hotseat. Claimed to investigators that he didn't know Prince was addicted to pain medications, but his name is on several bottles and he's picking up prescriptions under his name at Walgreens for Prince.

Also confirmed thanks to these documents is Prince's last romantic relationship...glad he wasn't alone that way but it feels like an invasion of privacy for her now.

The best thing to do is tell the truth. To find out his employees are not being cooperative is horrible.

What is ondansetron?

Ondansetron blocks the actions of chemicals in the body that can trigger nausea and vomiting.

Ondansetron is used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused by surgery, cancer chemotherapy, or radiation treatment.
