Again though I will say that this was not supposed to be about his death. I am sure when they went to Paisley is what to be an interview about the celebration not about the investigation or questions about pain over and over. CBS should have known that since this is an ongoing investigation NO ONE can comment on things, are they not aware of the LAW? The interview was very Entertainment Tonight caliber sadly.

On the other hand, on the topic of Kirk, something is up and there is a lot more to Prince's death than Hip Pain and a supposed surgery and the effects of doing splits and jumping off pianos. Fentanyl is the most powerful and lethal thing, as reported by doctors it is presribed for those recovering from chemo who are in pain, however, the body starts to almost not recognize the Fentanyl and the pain doesnt stop which would lead one in pain to take more, and since Fentanyl is the most addictive thing out there, that is a toxic combination.

We can all speculate and play monday morning quarterback with things like "someone should have been there" "intervention" etc...but this is not a typical case this is a 57 year old man not a 20 year old. and also a very powerful one with a lot of money, who easily could have said "get the hell out of here" to anyone. We do not know PRINCE's state of mind at all. We know the guy on stage, that is a small piece of who he was, very small actually. He was alone, and we do not and will never know the state of mind, health, death of Vanity, death of other icons over the last few years notably David Bowie, who knows what PRINCE was thinking or feeling, and taking something like Fentayl is the last thing he should have been doing.

He did not know he was taking fentanyl. The pills were made up to look like hydrocodone but were laced with fentanyl.

I can not read Kirk at all. He seems like either a clueless shill for the PP family/enabler or truely traumatized and attempting to be respectful of P's privacy.

He doesn't come off too bright, but then again, it could be his nerves. But he seems a bit he was the Lenny in Mice of Men to Prince's George. LOL>

This analogy makes no sense. Yes, Lenny is "mentally slow". But the reason George (his brother) has to kill him is because he squeezes mice - and girls - to death. How does Kirk=Lenny and Prince=George? LOL

Prince said in that 'lost' Rolling Stone interview from 2014 that he wanted to turn Paisley Park into a musuem.

"There's room for Purple Rain or the Super Bowl here," he notes of one empty space, murmuring something about eventually turning Paisley Park into a museum. It already seems a bit like one: a huge, dark, nearly empty space with only a skeleton crew on hand.

Yes right. But look at what kirk said. His exact worfs. Slip of the tongue? He wants is present tense. Not, he wanted. Yeah I know its a dream but I still hope famtasy wish wonder if Prince just chose to disappear and battle his illness alone sad

You know what,XxAxX? I caught that too...Kirky J using present tense in reference to P. And it made me pause, because at that second I realized this was not the first time it has been done. IIRC, Tyka as well as Sheila E addressed P in present tense and that's when I thought..."ok, one person-its a slip, 2 people -they're having a hard time not digesting P in past tense...this is at least the 3rd time. I'm not suggesting any conspiracy theory here, but I find it odd enough to throw a red flag with multiple people addressing P in present tense...almost a year later

Wasn't Duane also the one that beat up someone up at PP, then P put a restraining order on him, then out of spite, Duane went to the press claiming P was a cokehead???

Yeah, P took care of him and nipped it in the bud

I'm not.the only.one. thank heaven. Yep I keep hoping he's not really dead but being treated for whatever in Switzerland, unwilling to let us watch him suffer. This explains a lot of the coincidences, weird things folks have said, why Kirk left town right after Mr P passed, the symbol glyph on Instagram and much more, like what Tyka said about him having done what he wanted to do. I know I am wishful thinking, but I can't help it because there are so many weird bits lying around like jigsaw puzzle pieces

.
Except Duane was not Prince's brother, nor was he even a half brother.
Duane did not share in John Nelson's estate, so Prince (in charge of that estate) obviously knew by that time that they were not related.
.
It's pretty sad when you think about it. During high school, Duane lived with John, who may have believed Duane was his son because his first wife Vivian put John on Duane's birth certificate.
.
Yet, at the same time, Prince had been shuffled around from house to house and did not live with either patent after the age of 13.
.
Always remember that when thinking about Prince's personality and how he related to others.

CBS aired the interview for a reason. The general public does not know Kirk. The interview itself was worthles. This seems to be an attempt by CBS to anticipate the conclusion of the investigation. CBS might have access to a leak. I am not saying that he is implicated but I am saying it is strange that they aired the interview. I think the invetsigation results are unsealed soon and I am sure there will be more questions than answers.

But again we do not know for sure what PRINCE knew. There were pills inside of other bottles mixed up and things like that. But we don't know who did that, we don't know if PRINCE actually was doing this, if he knew he had a problem, but did not want anyone else to know he was hiding things from them. If someone "laced" his medication than it is a murder case, if he purchased this illegally from a source or someone did that for him than there other issues to be taken care of.

Hi Precioux and CatB,

I do the tense thing, too. I sometimes start writing posts about P in the present tense, so at least one person who never met Prince does that.

It's been a very busy few days for me in the mundane world of ordinary tasks, but I've been thinking of you folks. : )
