In honor two great rock legends lost to us now...Prince doing Johnny Be Goode...

RIP Chuck Berry... the originator of Rock in my opinion. Prince is the king of pop and modern music IMO..Chuck is the original singer, songwriter and guitarist of rock music.

HEre's Prince's famous press conference with Johnny Be Goode...

Chuck, Prince, and Hendrix remind everyone that rock music is black music (and white music, just like jazz is both...however, black people invented both..jazz in particular by combining African rhythms with European melodies.)

Thanx! I was thinking about this as well. Does anybody know if Prince ever covered other Chuck Berry songs?

i've never known of him to. He really didn't have to though, chucks influence was in his and every other rockers dna, everytime a rocker made a car song it was an ode to Chuck.
