these people were real band members i dont think they were friends of prince at all and i dont think they really knew much on a perosnal level about him. listening to alot of them interviews after he passed i feel like he knew exactly how to seperate himself from everybody on a real personal level | |

Disagree. I don't think P wanted anyone around him who he couldn't be "friends" with or even fold into a familial situation. Morris Hayes, 20 years. Shelby J, 10'years. Etc . He elevated people from menial jobs gradually into higher positions. Some ended up as band members, others even into management positions. . The Prince of Darkness narrative that tabloid media is trying to sell just does mesh with what other people who knew him her saying. | |
