DESPITE INFLUENZA, THIS PLANET IS PRICELESS!

On April 3, 2016 Prince posted on twitter "DESPITE INFLUENZA, THIS PLANET IS PRICELESS!" At the time, we assumed that Prince was just under the weather a bit. After his passing, we assumed that the post was at attempt to hide the real reason he was sick. I don't think it was either. Prince did not think he was ever sick. In his words, he was "perfect" and he was comfortable with his fate.

In typical Prince fashion, the post was a play on words and a play on his current situation with a much deeper meaning. The post never really made sense if you assumed that "influenza" is a reference to the common flu.

We all know Prince was into root words. Influenza means "influence." mid 18th century: from Italian, literally ‘influence,’ from medieval Latin influentia (see influence).

With the above in mind, the post now makes perfect sense. Prince was simply saying that money/influence does not make this world. The world itself is priceless. Such a simply and appropriate message that was on a much higher level than he was at the time and where we were at the time.
Again, we must all pay closer attention to everything that Prince did because everything that he did was deliberate and on a much higher level than we know.

.
It was a typical double meaning, because he would cancel Atlanta four days later due to "flu".
.
Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

Could as well mean 'despite under the influence', ie a reference to addiction?
The wooh is on the one!

I believe Alan Leeds said that everything Prince said/did was contrived.

Even when he was not feeling well. Think about that for a minute. If he was going thru withdrawals and that is an if the side effects are like the flu.

not sure if this correlates to the 4/3 twitter post but at one of the ATL shows, he mentioned something about "instability in this planet"
