...(cont.)Prince And His Relationships; Astrologically Speaking

This is a continuation of the thread: Prince And His Relationships; Astrologically Speaking. I'm continuing with Susannah Melvoin.

.

First, let's look at two aspects in her natal chart. She has Venus Opposite Uranus (Venus 10 degrees in Pisces; Uranus 9 degrees in Virgo). She also has Venus Opposite Pluto (Venus 10 degrees in Pisces; Pluto 13 degrees in Virgo. And although we don't know which houses these aspects fall in (we would need her time of birth for that), we can still read the description for those aspects:

.

Venus Opposite Uranus The Astrologers Handbook pg. 428

This opposition indicates an unstable emotional nature. It tends to stimulate the desire for all types of exotic experiences, without consideration for the consequences. Very often there are several marriages ending in divorce. The natives are periodically enthralled in new infatuations and while they last the natives will do anything for their sake. However, these romances break up as suddenly as they start, leaving chaos in their wake. The effect is as though the natives were subjected to an emotional force beyond their control or understanding.

These natives are foolish in their use of money, spending it impulsively in casual friendships or useless pleasures. Often there is a great deal of emotional willfulness. The natives will not follow the dictates of their own consciousness, let alone the good advice of others. Powerful desires drive them toward an erratic and sometimes disastrous course of life, especiall where relationships are concerned. Their demand for personal freedom at any cost often makes it impossible for them to adjust to the mutual responsibilities which marriage, partnerships and friendships require. Other people are likely to give up on them for this reason, making lonliness and estrangement their fate.

There can be unfortunate friendships and associations, based on mere gratification of desire for pleasure, which lead the natives astray.

.

My take on it: Well...There you have it folks. As you can see, she has Venus opposite Uranus and Prince has Venus square his Uranus in his natal chart, which I talked about at the beginning of this series, so their fates and personalities were a lot alike.

.

Venus Opposite Pluto The Astrologers Handbook pg. 429

This opposition confers a predisposition for getting involved in intense emotional and sexual relationships which can be demoralizing. The natives are likely to have romantic and sexual problems of some sort, usually because of their uncontrolled passions.

The emotions can distort the will and regenerative power. The natives often attract associations of an undesirable kind. In extreme cases, there are underworld involvements with sex, such as prostitution, or the use of sex in making money some other way. This opposition can indicate problems in marriage because of the natives' dictatorial attitudes toward the marriage partner or vice versa. They may try to remake those they love rather than reforming themselves.

There will probably be problems with taxes, insurance, joint finances, or inheritances. Karmic factors can affect the natives' lives, often through so-called sex magic or possession by an outside entity. There is a possibility of suicide attempts due to disappointment in love.

.

My take on it: Now, I don't know much about Susannah at all (or her past relationships), let alone her relationship with Prince, so I can't speak or vouch for any of this that was written in this description of this aspect. Maybe someone else can touch on it. Now, on with where her planets fall in his natal chart, and the aspects they make to his.

.

.

Her Sun falls in his Third House:

A's Sun in B's Third House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 63

This comparative combination favors mutual mental stimulation. The Third House native's ideas can stimulate the Sun person's power drive and creative self-expression. The Sun person's energy can, in turn, spur the Third House individual to original, diversified thinking and greater willingness to communicate. This is a favorable combination in writing and exchange of ideas, especially in communications, science, and other work that requires mental insight. Teacher-pupil relationships that mentally vitalize the pupil and awaken his creative self-experession frequently have this combination in the comparison.

.

My take on it: I can definitely see the mutual stimulation there, how P's ideas stimulated her (being the Sun person) "power drive" and "creative self-expression" through their musical collaboration.

.

That being said, the Sun makes a Trine (good) aspect to his Mercury in his Seventh House (of marriage/partnerships):

.

A's Sun Trine B's Mercury The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 85

Excellent communication between the individuals is indicated by this comparative combination. It is a good combination for employer-employee, co-worker, parent-child, teacher-student, friendships and sibling relationships. The natives stimulate each other intellectually and share many cultural, educational, scientific, or literary interest. They can work effectively together as members of a group, which has a cultural, educational, or scientific purpose. The ability of these natives to communicate and talk over mutual difficulties can to some extent offset adverse aspects in the rest of the comparison. The Mercury individual can act as an adviser to the Sun native, giving him ideas for more effective forms of creative self-expression and the excercise of leadership. The Sun person inspires the Mercury native to more self-confidence and will power in the creative expression of ideas

.

My take on it: I would say they did work effectively together as a "group" and since music is definitely "cultural" it was part of their purpose. I had to LOL @ the part about their ability to communicate and "talk over mutual difficulties" tended to offset some of the other bad aspects in the comparison, because that was exactly what I was thinking as I meditated on this aspect coming from his Seventh House of "marriage and partnerships", which made him possibley "feel" that he may have had a permanent partner in Melvoin (thus the engagement). But...her Sun is also square his Venus in his Sixth House and opposite his Uranus in his Ninth House, which shall be explained coming up...

.

A's Sun Square B's Venus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 80

This comparative aspect indicates difficulties in emotional adjustment between the natives. The Venus person may see the Sun person as overbearing, bossy, or lacking emotional sensitivity. The Sun native may see the Venus person as frivilous or emotionally hypersensitive. Although this combination can produce romantic an sexual attraction, it is not favorable for marriage or serious romantic relationships. Real emotional sensitivity and caring are likely to be lacking, and the relationship will probably be based on pleasure-seaking and sensuality, uneless other factors in the comparison compensate. Competition or serious differences in taste can arise in esthetic, social, and cultural matters. The natives can disagree about handling finances, or encourage each others tendencies to make unwise expenditures. Sometimes they bring out each other's laziness and hedonistic qualities. In parent-child relationships, there is danger of overindulgence.

.

My take on it: I wouldn't say that real emotional sensitivity and caring were lacking since P's Moon is conjunct her Venus, as we shall see later.

.

A's Sun Opposite B's Uranus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 91

This comparative combination can produce a clash of wills. The Uranus individuals desire for freedom and independence is likely to clash with the Sun natives authoritarian tendencies. The natives must show absolute respect for each other's freedom if they are to get along. The Sun individual may regard the Uranus person as eccentric, impractical, unreasonable, unreliable. This comparative combination can produce sudden romantic infatuations, but they are usually not stable or longlasting. The natives often meet suddenly and under strange circumstances and are involved in many exciting adventures together. If both natives are mature and there are many other good aspects in the comparison, a dynamic, interesting friendship and mutual sharing of humanitarian, scientific or occult interest are possible. The natives can act as catalyst for change in each other's lives.

.

My take on it: With Melvoin being an Aquarian, I can certainly see the "clash of wills" here. Most of them are extremely independant (Uranus being her ruling planet) even though P is the Uranus person in this aspect and she the Sun person. To think that she would sit on the sidelines and accept his womanizing ways is definitely "unreasonable" and he was also "unreliable". Again, here we see the "sudden romantic infatuation" (as with Mani; her Venus opposite P's Uranus) that doesn't end well. And these ladies planet(s) are always involved in a square/opposition that is also in P's own natal chart (he has Venus square Uranus and Opposite his Neptune). I think I remember reading somewhere that she met Prince while working for Geffen Records as a secretary, while walking down the hallway. So they DID meet suddenly. Under strange circumstances? Hmm...well, with his soon-to-be "ex girlfriend" by his side (who reaches out to squeeze your "cute little cheeks") and you being his "future fiance", I would say, yes. Definitely strange wink lol

.

A's Mercury in B's Second House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 130

This is an excellent combination for business and proffesional partnerships, provided Mercury is not badly afflicted in the comparison. The natives are able to communicate about property and financial affairs. The Mercury individual can stimulate the Second House individual mentally in regards to handling business and financial affairs more effectively. The Second House individual sometimes provides financial support for implementing the ideas of the Mercury individual. In some cases cooperative business endeavors are related to Mercury-ruled activities such as writing, news media, communications media, advertising, publishing, lecturing, travel, accounting, and medicine. Joint business affairs may also relate to scientific fields, inventions, and discoveries.

.

My take on it: I can definitely see their business partnership with the writing and publishing song lyrics/movie scripts. Vanity's Mercury also falls in P's Second House, so this aspect applies to her as well. As for the Second House person providing financial support for implementing the ideas of the Mercury individual, I can't really see it, because the collaboration was EQUAL imo. They both lived with him for a period of time, so maybe he paid all the bills while they were looked at as "struggling artist" maybe? Mercury is communication, the written and spoken word. The Second House shows what we "value". With their Mercury in P's Second House, shows he also valued their opinion/input on all things related to their collaborations.

.

Susannah's Venus falls in P's Fourth House

.

A's Venus in B's Fourth House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 165

These natives will enjoy family gatherings, social times at home, and eating meal together. The Venus individual will decorate and beautify the home of the Fourth House individual. The Fourth House individual will provide a place for the Venus individual to express creative, artistic, and social talents. The Venus individual will encourage the Fourth House individual to make the home a place fo parties and other social gatherings. The art of cooking will be an important part of this relationship. The natives will spend much money to make the home a place of beauty and charm. In some cases, the home will be used as a place for business partnership activities or for some kind of artistic or social business endeavors.

It is a favorable combination for marriage, especially if a woman's Venus falls into a man's Fourth House. If Venus is afflicted in the Fourth House there can be emotional difficulties as a result of moodiness or supersensitivity. Too much social life could disrupt the home atmosphere.

.

My take on it: I'm sure all of this was true at the time they lived together smile

.

A's Moon Conjunct B's Venus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 101

In general, this is one of the best of all comparative aspects. The Moon individual can provide domestic and emotional security for the Venus individual, and the Venus individual can express love and emotional understanding to the Moon individual. There is usually a strong emotional link. The natives are often sexually and romantically attracted to each other, if other factors are favorable. They are sensitively attuned to each other's moods and subconscious emotional responses and respond to each other in a way that is both sympathetic and soothing. They will be able to share many sympathetic tender feelings and will enjoy esthetic, musical, social, and artistic pursuits together.

.

My take on it: This is one of the best aspects when it comes to true affection between two people but the only thing is, her Venus is square to his Sun and Mercury in his Seventh House of marriage, indicating problems in communicating about emotional issues:

.

A's Mercury Square B's Venus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 149

This comparative aspect can cause difficulties in communicating about emotional issues, especially in romantic and marital relationships. In some cases it merely indicates disagreements in esthetic, cultural, and social values. The Venus individual may feel that the Merucury individual is too wrapped up in his or her ideas and constant intellectual discussion to recognize or respond to the Venus individual's feelings and emotional and esthetic values. The Mercury individual may regard the Venus individual as overly sentimental and impractical. The natives may rationalize and overanalyze their emotional reactions to each other and thus block real understanding and sensitivity to each other's feelings. On the other hand emotional reactions and sentimentality can stand in the way of clear-headed thinking and planning.

.

My take on it: So Susannah is the Venus person and Prince the Mercury person. Now, I wonder if he overanalyzed and rationalized her reaction to him that time when he called her and asked was she busy. She said, "Yes, but not to busy to talk to you". He then hung up.

.

Note: Her Sun is square his Venus (I covered that at the beginning of this analysis), But his Sun is also square to her Venus eek Not good!

.

Her Uranus (her ruling planet) is in P's Tenth House of career, and Opposite his Moon in his Fourth House:

.

A's Uranus in B's Tenth House The Astrololgy of Human Relationships pg. 292

The Tenth House individual can help the Uranus person to use intuitive insights, scientific abilities and unique talents in practical and productive ways. The Tenth House person can help the Uranus individual gain official support and recognition for those talents and abilities. If Uranus if afflicted in the comparison, the natives will disagree over political, administrative, and proffesional matters. They can tend to encourage each other in rash, impulsive acts that adversely affect their reputations and proffesional standing. In extreme cases, this could lead to coflict government or other institutions of authority.

.

A's Moon Opposite B's Uranus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 126

This combination makes for an unusual, interesting, exciting relationship, but not necessarily long lasting ones. Often, the association is of a revolutionary or unconventional character. In romantic or sexual attractions, the natives may live together without marrying. The natives' emotional response to each other is subject to many sudden changes of mood or attitude. This comparative combination does not make for lasting marriages, unless other factors in the comparison provide durability in the relationship.

The Uranus individual is likely to introduce the Moon individual to new friendships and interests. However, the Uranus person's many unexpected actions and change of plans are likely to confuse the Moon person. The Uranus person's desire for freedom and independance can cause instability in the relationship. There can be frequent changes of residents if they belong to the same family or are married.

.

A's Mercury Square B's Uranus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 151

The natives will encourage each other in unrealistic and impractical ways of thinking. They tend to take too much for granted and jump to conclusions in communicating with each other, and misinterpretations often result. The natives tend to be impatient toward each other, and this creates friction in planning and communication. There can be different preferences where friends and group associations and activities are concerned; they natives may not enjoy the same company and activities. There can be major intellectual differences of opinion. The Uranus individual may often change his or her mind, thus upsetting the plans of the Mercury individual, and the Uranus persons erratic, unpredictable can make the Mercury person feel nervous and ill at ease. in general, these natives tend to get on each other's nerves.

.

My take on it: With her Uranus square his Mercury, the part about jumping to conclusions in communicating with each other with misinterpretations often being the result, and him being impatient with her, the friction in communications reminded me of the phone call also...Smh

.

Susannah's Pluto is in P's Tenth House; Square his Sun in the Seventh House which produced more "power struggles".

.

So, in summary: Like he and Mayte, they both have afflicted Venus' in their natal chart, meaning they both had some heavy karma to work on in this lifetime in the relationship department. Coincidentaly, she has a Venus/Uranus affliction also. Venus is weak in both of their charts. P's Moon conjunct her Venus shows that he really did truly care a great deal for her and his affections were genuine. In short, there were just too many of her planets that were square/opposed to his in his natal chart that were already square/opposed to each other in his. Too much friction, instability, miscommunication in this relationship for it work.

I don't have Mayte's natal chart because I don't know her time of birth, but if you'll read the synastry that I did on she and P (in the first thread), you will see that I mentioned the aspects between her Venus/Saturn and Venus/Pluto. Venus square Pluto stated that there was something "karmic" or "fated" about her romanitc life. The only thing I can say about P in the romance area is that he was not "stable". I know I keep saying it over and over but it bears repetition. Read the beginning of the first thread about his Venus Square his Uranus (it describes him to a TEE!). He CONSTANTLY craved excitement, something/somebody different. And that is the underlying current throughout ALL of his relationships, no matter who he was with. My father has this aspect and he was constantly going from woman to woman, never being able to settle down with ANYONE. He was 59 when he passed away, and had just recently (within a month of his passing) gotten back in a relationship with a women who he had an on again/off again relationship with since his 20's eek . So yeah, even in his old age he was still chasing skirt tails until he took sick and passed away. I have looked into where Andy's planets fall in P's natal chart and most of them (about 80%) fall into his Second House (which I will get into later). They have lots and LOTS of Trines and Sextiles (good aspects between their planets). I haven't really delved deeply into it yet, but from the looks of it, it looks like they had/would've had a WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL proffesional relationship. More on it later...

Thanks for detailed response. I think your right he was not stable and it looks like he did have a great working relationship with Andy because from what I have read he crontinued to promote her even after they separted professionally/personally. I am looking forward to Mayte's book. She mentioned recently that she alays thought they would get back together again. Sad for all involved.

You're welcome. Yeah, I look forward to Mayte's book also. They had some very heavy karma between the two of 'em.

Sheila E. and Prince Synastry

.

First (as usual), let's look at some of the aspect in her natal chart:

.

Venus Square Neptune The Astrologer's Handbook pg. 368

This square causes emotional problems connected with the unconscious mind and the imagination. Since emotional and sexual problems may arise out of past experience that lies deep in the unconsious, the aspect can have a karmic connotation. Escapist tendencies may cause the natives to live in a fantasy world in order to avoid the harsher realities of life. This proclivity may be manifested in alcoholism or drug ubuse. These people are likely to bestow their affections unwisely. There is danger of scandal through dubious relationships and financial involvements. Sex is usually the grounds for attack. Marital happiness can be endangered by a lack of honesty and directness.

At times the natives are shy and retiring, but they are inclined to carry on secret romances. In extreme cases there are secret sexual debaucheries. Natives may be homosexuals. Sometimes the natives are prey to people who prey on their sympathies for the sake of getting something out of them. They can be susceptible to dubious get-rich-quick schemes and need to use discrimination in both their financial deaings and their romantic involvements. In some cases they are too idealistic, seeking relationships that are hardly possible.

.

*She also has Venus Opposite Uranus (see Susannah Melvoin's analysis)

.

My take on it: That first sentence says it all. Remember that incident with her and Prince on stage (when she said they both went to that "place") and he asked her to marry him? Well...you pretty much get the picture. Let me interrupt this analysis to say this, Ex (dethroned) Miss America, Vanessa Williams has this aspect in her natal chart also. Notice the sentence in the first paragraph that says, "There is danger of scandal through dubious relationships and financial involvements. Sex is usually the grounds for attack". Now if that aint that sh*t that went down between her and Bob Guccione, I don't know what is. Vanessa said in an interview back in the 80's that she did it to help pay off some bills (student loans ect) that she had. See how she was "decieved" by Guccione. He lied and told her that the pictures would not be published. Sex was definitely the "grounds for attack" (pornography) as that was what he used against her later on. "Secret sexual debauchery"? You better believe it was (taking naked pics that she thought would never see the light of day). That's why I just laugh at y'all who don't believe in this science. Astrology will always have the last laugh nana Now, on with Sheila: her emotional and sexual problems probobly did arise out of past experiences, because from what I hear, she was molested as a child. Y'all can pretty much break down the rest.

.

Her Sun is Conjunct P's Saturn in his Second House

.

A's Sun Conjunct B's Saturn The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 69

This is a difficult comparative combination. The Saturn individual may tend to be jealous, dampening the Sun person's self-confidence and enthusiasm. If the rest of the comparison is favorable, this comparative aspect has the positive effect of enabling the individuals to work effectively together in business and proffesional matters or other areas of serious work and responsibility. The Sun person can boost the other's self confidence, while the Saturn person can help the Sun person to be more practical, patient and self-disciplined.

This comparative aspect does not favor romantic relationships or parent-child relationships, especially if the parent is the Saturn individual; the parent may discipline the child severely and lack emotional warmth. However, much depends on the other aspects in the comparison

.

Her Sun is in his Second House

.

SECOND HOUSE The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 51

Comparative placements of planets in the Second House indicate that the natives are likely to be involved with each other through business, property, or financial affairs. They are likely to stimulate each other's taste for luxuries, fine and expensive items, art objects and opulent surroundings. The desire for material gain and the status which accompanies it will be a significant factor in the relationship.

.

She has several planets in his Tenth House

.

TENTH HOUSE The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 54

Comparative influences involving the Tenth House will indicate the extent of the natives' proffesional involvement with each other. Where strong Tenth House comparative influences are present, one of the natives may be in a position of power and authority over the other, as in employer-employee or parent-child relationships. The older or more experienced of the two natives is likely to have a strong effect in shaping the career of the other. The natives are often mutually involved in some way in politics or publicity-seeking. If the Tenth House comparative influences are adverse in nature, there can be competition for promotion, public recognition, or official favor, or the natives may disagree or be antagonistic about political opinions or methods of handling proffesional affairs. If the Tenth House comparative influences are favorable, the natives can help each other achieve prominence or career advancement.

.

There were good and bad aspect from hers to his in his Tenth House *(see Pluto in P's Tenth House in the first thread on this)

.

Her Venus is Square to his Neptune (these two planets are also Square in her chart)

.

A's Venus Square B's Neptune The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 182

Often found in unsuitable romantic relationships, this comparative combination can lead to peculiar, illusory romantic attractions. In some cases, the attraction is one-sided or deceptive, and insincerity can enter the picture. They can excuse each other's shortcomings to the point of encouraging character defects, and encourage each other in the use of alcohol and drugs, or in dissipating self-destructive habits. They can indulge in maudlin sentimentality and mutual commiseration that serves no useful purpose.

The Venus person is likely to regard the Neptune individual as difficult to understand, elusive, deceptive, unreliable, or impractical. The Neptune person may see the Venus person as lacking in spiritual sensitvity and awareness.

.

My take on it: With her Sun conjunct his Saturn, it is of course, a proffesional relationship and not a parent-child (although Jellybean Johnson said P would treat them like children at times lol ), he was definitely being a severe disciplinarian when he wouldn't let her attend her grandmother's funeral...Smdh As for her Venus square his Neptune, well, when I looked up the definition of maudlin, this is what I found:

Maudlin adjective. 1. tearfully or weakly emotional; foolishly sentimental

And I do put BIG emphasis on foolish. Sheila girl, what is wrong with you constantly going on about how P asked you to "marry" him on some illusory, Neptune, 12th House stuff. It definitely "serves no useful purpose". Like, what's the point? It wasn't even real. You both were under an "illusion". See also P's Venus opposite his Neptune in the first thread on this. Still love the both of you though... wink

.

Her Venus is Square his Venus

.

A's Venus Square B's Venus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 180

The natives temperaments are often incompatible where social manners, artistic tastes, and emotional needs are concerned. They are apt to encourage each other in self- indulgent habits and unwise expenditures, and they tend to be overly sentimental and lacking in sincerity.

.

My take on it: Well, what can I say. Sheila said herself that P was too "raunchy" for her. Overly sentimental? That, she was. Were they sincere? I'll let y'all be the judge of that.

.

And on that note, I'mma end this one folks

Vanity and Prince Synastry

.

Well, well, well...the moment we've (well her fans anyway) all been waiting for. Drum roll...

.

Let's start with her Sun in his Second House. In Sheila's analysis I gave a brief description for any and all planets in that House but to be more specific:

.

A's Sun in B's Second House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 62

This comparative combination indicates cooperation on a financial or business basis. The Sun native's creativity and energy can stimulate the Second House native to improve his material circumstances. The Sun native may cultivate the Second House native to use his resources for some personal self-expression or creative endeavor. The Sun individual's creativity can influence the Second House person's esthetic and material values or vice verse. The Second House individual may provide the resources needed for the Sun individual's creative expression. In a romance, marriage, friendship, however, resentments can arise from ulterior motives of personal material gain on the part of one or both individuals. Whether there is sufficient basis in other areas of the relationship to compensate for this danger depends on the rest of the comparison

.

My take on it: Boy meets girl. Girl tells boy of her career ambitions. Boy claims he can make girl a star. Girl takes him up on his offer and goes to live with him, in which case P would be the provider of the resources needed for her creative expression. As far as the resentment is concerned, hell, I would be resentful too if someone wanted to pay me a measly $5,000 for a movie that was a smash at the box office AND I had all that acting experience in my past. See ya'll, I got to leave this one here alone cause I KNOW I'm gone step on some toes if I go any further with my take on this aspect.

.

Her Mercury falls in his Second House also *(for a full description see Susannah's analysis) and it is Conjunct his Saturn in his Second House

.

A's Mercury Conjunct B's Saturn The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 138

This is a good comparative combination for business and proffesional relationships if both individuals are mature. There can be a strong mutual sense of purpose and responsibility. The Saturn person is likely to make heavy demands on the the Mercury individual in terms of discipline and concentration. This combination often occurs in business and proffesional and employer-employee relationships.

.

My take on it: As stated in the A's Mercury in B's Second House, it deals with writing, publishing, media communication ect. The "strong mutual sense of purpose" was what they had together AND what it took write that story for the movie Purple Rain. As for P making heavy demands on her, I don't think he really had to with Saturn being the ruler of her sign Capricorn, she was pretty disciplined. It's ironic that this aspect makes a Trine to his Pluto in his Tenth House of career and proffesion, as that movie that they wrote together catapulted him to the height of his career. I wished she would've starred in it.

.

Her Sun in his Second House is Trine his Venus in his Sixth House of work; employment ect

.

A's Sun Trine B's Venus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 85

This is a good comparative combination for romanitc and sexual attraction and marriage. The natives enjoy each others company and have fun together. There is good emotional rapport and mutual sensitivity and generosity. The natives are likely to share artistic, cultural, musical or theatrical interest.

.

A's Venus in B's Third House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 165

The natives will share an interest in poetry, literature and other art forms of art that are communicated through the media. This aspect helps make communication harmonious. The Third House individual will help the Venus individual become more intellectually aware. The natives will send each other affectionate greetings and rememberances.

.

A's Venus Trine B's Pluto The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 187

If the natives are of opposite sex and similar age, this aspect can indicate intense romantic and sexual attractions. This aspect can be a good combination for business relationships relating to corporate finance, banking, insurance, tax accounting, inheritance, art, music, or entertainment.

.

My take on it: Well, I DO declare! They actually did keep in touch. A's Venus in B's Third House says, "The natives will send each other affectionate greetings and rememberances" (cards, letters) batting eyes love2 TOB, I hope you read this biggrin

.

A's Venus Sextile B's Mars The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 175

If the natives are of similar age and opposite sex, there will be opportunities for romanitc and sexual involvement. Often they meet through friends or group activities.

.

A's Moon in B's Twelfth House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 98

Because this combination makes for a strong emotional and intuitive link, the natives will be intensely aware of each other's subconscious moods and feelings. On the positive side, this will make for sympathetic understanding, empathy, and mutual compassion. However,if the overall horoscopic comparison is unfavorable, and if the Moon is afflicted, the natives may stimulate each other's self-destructive tendencies and encourage each other's subconscious self-deception and hang-ups. There can be a psychic link between them which can influence their attitude toward each other through a process of subconscious telepathy. They may have a karmic relationship in their family or financial affairs. The Moon individual can stimulate the deep-seated subconsious memories of the Twelfth House person, but whether this is positive or negative depends on the overall comparison. The Twelfth House individual can awaken the Moon individual to a deeper level of intuitive awareness. Deception and dishonesty in feelings and attitudes should be avoided at all cost in this relationship.

.

My take on it: With her Moon in his Twelfth House conjunct his Ascendant, yes, she did have a psychic link with him. Which is why she would sometimes say she was worried about him, or that the demons were after him ect. Now, I DO believe they had a karmic relationship in their family (and possibly financial too) affairs, because the movie Purple Rain was about their somewhat similar home life (backgrounds) and the way they grew up.

.

A's Venus Opposite B's Neptune The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 191

This comparative combination indicates alluring, but not neccessarily reliable or stable, romantic and sexual attractions. In some cases the natives can be deceptive toward each other emotionally. The relationship is apt to be highly romantic, but not neccessarily practical. Romantic attractions can sometimes be one-sided, leading to emotional hurts and dissapointments, or one party may use the other for sexual gratification. The Venus person is apt to regard the Neptune person as peculiar, unreliable and deceptive. The Neptune individual is likely to regard the Venus person as spiritually unaware or lacking in imaginaion.

There can be a mutual appreciation of fine arts, music, or religious mysticism.

.

All of these women share this aspect with him:

Sheila E.

Vanity

Jill Jones

Susan Moonsie

Appolonia

.

My take on all of it: So in this short analysis (which is by no means complete, but just to give you all a general idea), we see how her Sun falls in his Second House of business, money, and what we value, and what that energy produced between them. Also her Mercury (planet of communication, news media, publishing, writing ect.) falls in his Second House and how that worked out between them. So with her Sun in his Second House "Trine" to his Venus in his Sixth House (house of work, employment ect.) We see a business/proffesional relationship that turned romantic (Remember in the first thread on this topic where I talked about his Venus in his Sixth House indicated romantic and social involvements being established through work). Her Venus in his Third House (communication) did show that they would always have some type of communication going on, and that they would send each other affectionate rememberances (in the form of letters, cards ect.) and greetings. Her Pluto (which is a personal planet for them both because it's P's chart ruler; he has Scorpio rising, and the ruler of her Moon in Scorpio) is "Trine" his Venus (Venus is her chart ruler because she has Taurus rising). So yeah, it was definitely an intense sexual relationship. Also, with her Venus in his Third House (communication) Sextile his Mars in his Fifth House (house of romance, creativity ect.) and sextiles being aspects of opportunities, they had plenty of occasions/opportunities to get together, whether it was just to talk or have a rendezvous. So they probably were getting together off and on or whatever. But let's look at her (and the rest of 'em) who's Neptunes are opposite his Venus. The authors talk about it being an alluring, but not neccessarily stable or reliable romantic and sexual attraction. Now y'all know this is exactly what it was with all four of these ladies. Notice this "opposition" is between P's Venus in his Sixth House (of which the description of that position stated that he would be romanitically involved with those he worked with) one of the many attributes of Neptune is illusion, deception, when it's working negatively in a natal chart (Squares, Oppositions). Not to mention P himself has "Venus Opposite Neptune in his natal chart. "the natives can be deceptive toward each other emotionally". Of course they were. Many of them continued to sleep with him, knowing he was with others disbelief "The relationship is likely to be highly romantic but not neccessarily practical. Of course it was "highly romantic", but definitely not practical, because here's the thing: Why continue having sex with someone who is never going to commit to you emotionally and physically. Well, y'all pretty much get the picture... Were they "soulmates"? Yes, in a sense. But so were all the others that he dealt with on a (as you can see) karmic basis.

Prince and Andy Allo Synastry

.

Andy's Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all fall in P's Second House.

.

SECOND HOUSE

Comparative placements of planets in the Second House indicate that the natives are likely to be involved with each other through business, property, or financial affairs. They are likely to stimulate each other's taste for luxuries, fine, and expensive items, art objects, and opulent surroundings. The desire for material gain and the status which accompanies it will be a significant factor in the relationship.

.

A's Venus in B's Second House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 164

This is a common comparative placement in business partnerships dealing with financial affairs or pleasure-oriented services, or with items that represent beauty, refinement, and luxury. The natives can together acquire art and objects of material value and beauty. The Second House individual can provide the Venus person with wealth or material possessions. By the same token, the Venus person can help the Second House individual acquire wealth and material possessions of beauty and refinement and assist in the social aspects of these activities. In a marriage relationship one or both parties may be motivated by considerations of money or material possessions.

.

Her Venus in his Second House is Trine to his Neptune in his Twelfth House

.

A's Venus Trine B's Neptune The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 186

Natives of this comparative combination enjoy a sensitive, emotional, intuitive, spiritual rapport. They attract each other with a subtle romantic magnetism. Often, the relationship is highly idealistic and romantic. There is a strong mutual appreciation of the spiritual, cultural, historic aspects of the fine arts. The natives bring out each other's refined, artistic, social taste. Romantic and marital relationships are often characterized by tenderness and intuitive emotional sensitivity. Many of the finer qualities of the sign Pisces are brought out in the relationship because of the double-Pisces connotation of the Venus-Neptune comparative Trine. The Neptune person can bring a sense of mystery, intuitive appreciation, awe, and sprituality to the Venus individual. The Venus person can bring beauty, charm, personal warmth and affection to the Neptune individual. There is a sensitive, warm rapport in parent-child relationships. This is a good combination for partnerships in business related to the fine arts and luxury items. However, some good Mercury/Saturn aspects should be present to provide the needed organization, discipline, and practical business sense.

.

Her Venus is Trine his Venus in his Sixth House

.

A's Venus Trine B's Venus The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 185

This is a favorable indication for romantic, marital, and business relationships. The natives enjoy each others company in social activities and artistic pursuits, and they appreciate the same cultural art forms. There will be an intuitive, emotional, rapport between them regarding feelings, moods and social attitudes. They will have a calming, emotionally soothing effect on each other.

.

Her Venus (like Vanity) is Trine his Pluto in his Tenth House

.

A's Venus Trine B's Pluto The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 187

If the natives are of opposite sex and similar age, this comparative aspect indicates intense romantic and sexual attractions. The aspect can be a combination for business relationships relating to corporate finance, banking, insurance, tax accounting, inheritance, art, music, or entertainment. The Venus person can help the Pluto individual to be more sensitive and diplomatic in social and business relationshps. The Pluto individual can help the Venus individual become more spiritually aware and make positive efforts at self-improvement and regeneration. The Pluto individual can bring an occult level of awareness to the artistic and social appreciations of the Venus person.

.

Her Saturn is in his Second House Trine his Venus in his Sixth House

.

A's Saturn in B's Second House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 257

Serious mutual responsibilities regarding business and financial affairs are indicated. The Saturn individual will influence the Second House person to be prudent and thrifty in financial dealings and expeditures. The Second House individual can support the Saturn person's professional goals financially.

.

A's Venus Trine B's Saturn The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 185

In this comparative combination there tends to be a srong sense of personal friendship and loyalty. Although this combination, by itself, does not indicate, sexual, romantic attraction, it can increase the stability and durability of a relationship when romantic attraction is indicated by other factors in the comparison. The Saturn person can help the Venus individual find emotional, financial, and social security. The Venus individual can draw out the Saturn individual, providing love, warmth, beauty, grace, and sociability.

This combination is favorable for business, legal, and professional partnerships and relationships, especially if they involve public relations, finance, banking, entertainment, arts, or luxury items. Because both Saturn and Venus are related to the sign Libra, there will be a sense of mutual respect and just dealing. The natives can count on each others loyalty and cooperation.

.

But...like Mayte, her Venus is square to his Mars in his Fifth House

.

A's Venus Square B's Mars The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 180

This comparative combination often produces strong sexual attractions; however, there is usually a lack of real emotional compatability and mutual consideration. The relationship can be entered into by one or both parties merely for sexual gratification, without real concern for the other party as a person.

In romantic and marital relationships, sexual jealousy and possessiveness can be a problem. The natives tend to influence each other to be impulsive in both emotional expressions and financial expenditures. This is not a good combination for a business partnership where prudence and thrift are important.

.

My take on it: In this relationship there were LOTS of Trines and Sextiles (good aspects) from Andy's planets to P's Sixth, Tenth and Twelfth Houses. As I said before, this makes for a VERY good working relationship. As the aspects show, they had very good energy between the two of them, creatively speaking. And somewhat romantically too. I had to LOL when I was typing A's Venus Trine B's Pluto. Even though Vanity shares this same aspect with him, it takes on a slightly new meaning with Andy. Thus, the bold writing when speaking of their age difference. No doubt he was sexually attracted to her, as she's a very beautiful woman. Her Venus Square to his Mars (in his Fifth House) would be a troublesome area. Andy has an Aries Moon. Her Sun is also Square Mars in her natal chart, so she has quite a TEMPER when provoked. And as the description of A's Venus Square B's Mars stated, "In a romantic and marital relationship, sexual possesseiveness and jealousy can be a problem". So those womanizing ways that Prince has would have created some pretty explosive scenes between them. A's Venus Trine B's Saturn shows there was less deceit and more loyalty in this relationship than with some of the others, so that's a PLUS.

If your reading is any indication, it seems there's a good chance that things were pretty intense with Prince and Andy.

Prince and Anna Fantastic Synastry

.

There weren't a lot of aspects made between Anna's planets and P's but the two important ones were her Sun and Mercury, both of which fell in P's Second House (business, money, values ect.) like two of the others ( Vanity, Sheila E.). For a full description of the significance of A's planets in B's Second House see Prince and Andy Allo's Synastry.

.

Her Sun falls in P's Second House

The Sun individual's creativity can influence the Second House person's esthetic and material values or vice versa. The Second House individual may provide the resources needed for the Sun individual's creative expression. In a romance, a marriage, or a friendship, however, resentments can arise from ulterior motives of personal gain on the part of one or both individuals. Whether there is sufficient basis in other areas of the relationship to compensate for this danger depends on the rest of the comparison.

.

It's also Trine to his Venus in his Sixth House

.

A's Sun Trine B's Venus The Astrology Of Human Relationships pg. 85

This is a good comparative combination for romantic and sexual attraction and marriage. The natives enjoy each other's company and have fun together. There is good emotional rapport and mutual sensitivity and generosity. The natives enjoy each other's company and have fun together. The natives are likely to share artistic, cultural, musical or theatrical interests. This is also a good combination for business cooperation, especially in the areas of art, luxury items, or entertainment. Married couples with this combination enjoy raising children together, and parent-child relationships are favored. The natives will encourage each other to be more outgoing and self-expressive socially.

.

My take on it: Again, here we see the exact same Sun house placement and aspect to P's Venus, as Vanity (see Prince and Vanity Synastry). With her Sun in his Second House, boy meets girl, changes her name to "so-and-so", helps her with her career. By the same token, he's helping himself too because whatever he does for or with her he benefits from it. Whether it be producing an album for her, writing a song for or about her, the two of them collaborating on something (a movie, song;album). So he benefited from both of these women's talents and/or inputs. Where the problem comes in at, is when the benefit is not equal. That's what I meant when I was giving my take on this aspect in the "Prince and Vanity Synastry". This is why the text states that if it's a marriage, romantic, or friendship, resentments can arise from ulterior motives of personal gain on the part of one or both individuals. That's why Vanity quit the movie PR. Believe me, it had a LOT more to do with P and other women. Not gonna get too much into it here. Her Sun Trine his Venus is self-explanatory.

.

Anna's Mercury also falls in P's Second House (like Susannah M.)

.

A's Mercury in P's Second House The Astrology of Human Relationships pg. 130

This is an excellent combination for business and proffesional partnerships, provided Mercury is not badly afflicted in the comparison. The natives are able to communicate about property and financial affairs. The Mercury individual can stimulate the Second House individual mentally in regard to ways of handling business and financial affairs more effectively and effeciently. The Second House individual sometimes provides financial support for implementing the ideas of the Mercury individual. In some cases, cooperative business endeavors are related to Mercury -ruled activities such as writing, news media, communications media, advertising, publishing, lecturing, travel, accounting and medicine. Joint business affairs may also relate to scientific fields, inventions and discoveries.

.

Her Mars is Conjunct his Ascendant

.

A's Mars Conjunct B's Ascendant Opposite B's Descendant '' pg. 205

The natives will have a direct and immediate effect on one another through their actions and means of personal self-expression. They will motivate each other to action in a direct and personal way.

This combination can indicate sexual attraction if the natives are of the opposite sex and appropriate age. There can be mutual involvement in professional and business enterprises, and if this comparative comibination is afflicted, a strong sense of competition with each other in professional and financial affairs. There can be danger of mutual conflict and a tendency to motivate each other to rash, impulsive action.

.

Her Saturn is Conjunct his Descendant in the Sixth House

.

A's Saturn Conjunct B's Descendant Opposite B's Ascendant '' pg. 267

This combination indicates serious mutual responsibilities through marriage, business, or professional partnerships. The dealings between these natives often involve legal contracts and binding mutual obligations. If Saturn is afflicted in the comparison, there can lawsuits.

.

* Anna's Moon is in his First House; Square to his Neptune in the Fourth (for full discription of this aspect, see reply #1 in the Part 1 of this thread).

.

My take on it: Everything is pretty much self-explanatory with this one also.
