Tropical/caribbean style songs I co own/run a community steel orchestra with my partner and after years of begging him to arrange a p song he's finally up for doing a cover. I personally want him to do gold or mbgitw but because we're starting our carnival setlist he's only willing to do a reggae/Caribbean style song. Are there any others besides blue light? Sure! Don't know if it's entirely appropriate for a youth orchestra, with its "shots of new spunk" and "c'mon let me do ya do ya's," but it's a great song, one of my favorites. |

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I put together a playlist featuring most of the songs mentioned & he says the sun, moon & stars fits best with what he has planned so far. I'll keep you guys posted once he starts work on it. Will be great to bring Prince to the Notting Hill carnival audience via steel pan. | |
