Great to see this. The Lovesexy show was the most demanding high energy show he ever did and what amazes me most is that he did this every night. |

I totally agree. Similar tours that it reminds me of are Blond Ambition and The Girlie Show from Madonna; the latter simply because of the sheer size and levels of the stage. BA had so much scenery change, segueing one to another. Even her stepmother said "It's exhausting just to watch".
Lovesexy was so sprawling (for the time) and intricate. Take away the theatrics, and the music arrangements are just as exhausting. The super fast version of "Sister", the cutting back and forth between "Adore" and other songs - one long ass medley of storytelling.
Luckily with any tour, there are breaks here and there to have a night off. Madonna, in Truth or Dare, talked about how exhausting BA was. She was on the phone w/ her father and said it wasn't like past ours where it was one show here or there; it's back to back to back shows, so it's very labor and work intensive.
Think about that he went even more athletic on the Nude Tour with Tony, Damon, and Kirk, and the gymnastics they pulled off for the next couple of tours. It was nice to see him just pair down and play like a rock band during the years in the mid-90s.

And still had enough energy to play clubs afterwards, create new music and entertain friends.

Merci |
