As for the article...I hope they reconsider.
No more Prince tributes done by other celeb artists, it's getting embarrassed.
I'd like to see them showing a compilation footage of Prince performing live, showing clips from all the different era's. On a huge screen, that would be awesome.
No-one can hold a candle to him, no-one ever will..

When people play Beatles songs, they don't usually wear their black suit and and bowl haircut.

Or even the Sgt Pepper silk pirate pajamas. They focus on the music.

But every time they perform Prince, they make him a tacky Purple Rain cartoon figure with ill-fitting purple frilly shirts.

I get it, but it's still tacky and disrespectful.

In a hypothetical world there's no guarantee Prince would play; he didn't play before when the Super Bowl was in Minneapolis, although he contributed the "Willing and Able" video.
