Sex urges can not only be bothersome, they can also be troublesome.
I believe that for Prince the "path" he chose and was led to caused him to desire to squelch this human instinct to the best of his ability until it wanted to be fed less and less.
Then a purer heart is left with less thought of self.

It is not an easy path but none of them are.

I "need" to only do and say what God and my experience suggests me to, and I believe I did that in my own words in my post.
I am also allowed to agree with another.
In fact I am allowed to be, do and say whatever I am inspired to be, do and say, like anyone else. I say this as a general statement.
If anyone would like me to expand on the issue of sex being bothersome, I can do that to a certain extent if asked with respect. It is pretty obvious how this can become the case, not only in Prince's earlier life, but also in each of our own lives.

If it's being said that P wasn't interested in Ms. Hill as more then a freind why is Andy being so promoted as the one whom he was seeking so hard...... ???? he not here to speak on this either .... I think Prince fancied whom he did, when he did & held whatever friendship, depts of love and care and mentoring with whom ever did he when he did. He may have done that with one on one or a few at a time .... But I have seen Picks of him holding Bria hand, He kisssed Tamar and was sitting nice and pretty with her on a couch.... He took Hill, with him alot of places and seem to enjoy being with & around her.... He was singing to Tamron............. Calling her and walked away with his arm nicely her (lower waist) ..... on award show... .... He seem to reach out to many he fancied that were talented & beautiful. I believe you knew Prince personally
so you probably understood him to some extent...
thank you for your fair comments and your kind attitude.....
I believe PP was a safe haven to Prince and that he mightve wanted to be alone there that last night.
I think he didn't want to burden anyone, and he just trusted God.

Re Hi RedPumps, I believe you knew Prince personally so you probably understood him to some extent... thank you for your fair comments and your kind attitude..... I believe PP was a safe haven to Prince and that he mightve wanted to be alone there that last night. I think he didn't want to burden anyone, and he just trusted God. Angel

Because he emphasized it many times during some of the P&M shows (i can only recall first hearing him saying it during Auckland show 1)

I saw this post last night and found a YT vid by a fan (brief). She says he was saying self-preservation is a thing we should seek because it brings confidence.
I don't know if she understood him correctly or not, but self-preservation is actually the deepest problem of human nature.
So as reliance as he was on God, he was also very self-reliant. I knew this about him anyway and it is one of the extreme paradoxes of him.
Either way, his life worked.

He mentioned self preservation at one of the Oakland shows. He said something like "we're going to have a conversation about that later [in the show]" but I don't think he ever did. Another theme was "we need a new story". That came up during the Oakland shows.
