For some reason, I just can't get my head around the fact that Prince lived at PP all alone? I ask this because it was a buliding surrounded by a chain link fence, which doesn't seem that hard to get through.

On 4/21/16, he dies alone at PP, you mean to tell me, that there was NO security on site, even if he didn't die, I find that very strange...I might be reaching, but given what we know about his medical state how the hell did anyone leave him alone there?!?!

Just breaks my heart

we don't know, i think he may have been ready to go, with the scant info we got I don't even think we can rule out suicide at this point. We won't know for decades maybe, if ever what happened.

It's not the first time I read this kind of statement.

They make Prince sound like a sort of assisted retard and I find it offensive.

For one thing Prince's health condition wasn't life thyreatening. He was in pain but the pain didn't or couldn't kill him. ODing on meds did. P was a very proud man, so obviously he wasn't gonna tell his staff or friends "I'm afraid I'm gonna OD again after the plane incident, stay with me and babysit me".

Besides that...

How can anyone leave me alone at my crib most of the time, regardless of what my health condition could be?

Simple answer: I live alone. So did Prince.

Not all of us like or wish being surrounded by other people all the time. Being on your own is a privilege for some people, it certainly is for me.

And I sure hope people will leave me the hell alone when I'm sick and dying, of all times.

I hear you but there's two sides to that, sometimes people need help, even Prince. I don't think we really know enough either way. One thing I will say about the many addicts I've known, it's that they hate being alone, they are afraid of relapse when they are trying to kick and get really clingy to the point of really being annoying. I still don't know what happened with Prince. i think maybe he knew his days were numbered for whatever reason and it didn't really matter anymore, i still don't rule out suicide either which is basically what all self destructive behavior really is anyway.

. He had video and sounds cameras all over the place that would detect and send alerts. You missed the recent story here about a cat tripping the security cameras in the parking garage? We know Judith was there half the time, too. It was his home, his studio and a stronghold of concrete and metal. .

that's the other thing that doesn't make sense, someone as paranoid and security aware as prince and the cameras don't clue us in as to the happenings of that night? Somethings not right. Anyway, I'm gonna drop it for now, we've been running in circles for what? 9 months now?

I know someone who was recently in the bedroom. The person explained it as one room with wood floors and chairs, couches and what looked like a chiropractor bench. You then walk up some stairs and the bedroom has thick white carpet and a round white bed covered with white fur. The walls have rainbows and a saying that s something like..if you believe it, it is real.

The other point about the property is that I'm sure Prince was comfortable with the level of security at PP. The facility is completed surrounded by a locked fence/gate and is situated in a safe, well-lit location with plenty of law enforcement visibility. Not to mention the respect for his personal space that the community has for it's fellow citizens. At the time of his death PP was not the hub of activity it has been in the past.

If you go back to the Carver County Sheriff logs the alarms were being tripped by trespassers all the time. So he had an alarm system. Plenty of crazies trying to get in.

Just after his death was saw reports from the local law inform cement website that showed very few trouble calls occurring at Paisley Park. Just a couple a year. And I can tell you from first had experience that the local police respond very quickly to Paisley Park. I'm talking just a couple minutes. Living alone in Paisley Park was likely safer than living alone in a house that was a little more remote and perhaps not as wired.

On the other hand, him being alone that last couple weeks is unusual. His people should have been more assertive.

I ´ ve read here on the org that he had two plastic palm trees in that room. That , and the fact that the room supposedly looked comparatively humble, surprised me the most.

There was an article in the late 80s that mentioned a visit by a couple of WB execs who visited him, and one of them mentioned that he saw Kim Basinger in that round bed. The description of the stairs is pretty accurate, too.

The excerpt you are referring to was in reference to the fake palm trees located in the bathroom, and the bathroom having a "beachy" feeling to it. IIRC, it was one of his protoge's that went in the bathroom to use P's hair dryer, because she had forgotten to pack her own.

Kandace Springs.

She also described it as "a little queen-sized bed" rather than a round bed.
There's apoarently more than one "apartment" up there.
The round bed sounds more like for formal situations LOL.

It's in the GQ articles.

I wish people would stop blaming his employees for his death! It's not their faults! Would anyone here force themselves into the boss's house and stay the night, night after night? Good grief no.

And if this man, Prince, wasn't sleeping with the beautiful young women who were voluntarily sleeping in his house, then the earth ain't round. He was single, the women were single, grow the eff up.

we really don't know much of anything, whether his employees got him drugs or not, we don't know, we know, in fact, almost nothing. If it were me in the situation, i'd have never left him alone, never. I really do feel though, that for whatever reason, he was ready to go. It's hard to keep someone in that state.

Ok...after the divorce he lived in Cali for several years. Before he went out there he lived on Galpin about a mile away from PP. the upstairs that was converted used to have a few office and a huge meeting room. He always had a small apartment where the stained glass window is. He didn't live there long

I'm not sure what being a fan has to do this nonsense that he was screwing every woman he came in contact with. Like I've said before I think it's incredibly insulting to Prince to suggest he couldn't have a relationship with a woman that didn't involve sex.

No one has every said he was screwing every women he knew however, many of us do not believe he was some monk. I think he slowed his roll has he got older but you Candance Springs telling you he took her out on a dates in January and that he tried to go there with her.

He was seen around his home town with 20s somethings in his car. What is wrong with a grown man dating and relationships with women. It does not mean something awful was occuring.

It goes back to the whole womenazier thing. Was he awful person because he liked chasing women? I do not think so as you have people out here really doing awful stuff so in the grade scheme of things Prince was not the devil for chasing women.

can you get metallosis with a partial hip replacement? I thought you could only get it from a full hip replacement when the ball and the socket are both replaced with metal parts. In a partial hip replacement only the ball is replaced.

That isn't proof. I can say I slept with Prince and have friends back me up, but it doesn't make it true and it doesn't offer proof.
