Track called "Lions of Wither" ?

Awhile ago (shortly after 4/21), I downloaded what I'd describe as a fan-made album of Prince tracks. Some released, some unreleased.

According to the accompanying track list, an instrumental on there is called "Lions of Wither." But this song is not listed on Princevault.com, nor can I find info anywhere else.

I'd loosely describe the track as something that would fit in on a Madhouse album. But its not on either of those.

Anyone know what this track is actually called? Or have any more info about it?

If it's the same that's on YT it's 19 (Jailbait) from the unreeleased 1988 Madhouse album 24.

Whomever retitled this file deserves some serious beating. I swear to God if someone knows who did this just go and beat the shit out of them with a stick. That oughta teach them.

Yes, it is the same track. In fact, that was obviously taken from the collection I am referring to...at the beginning you hear the last notes of "The Grand Progression." BTW it is rather jarring to go straight from "The Grand Progression" to "19"!!

I wasn't sure if I would get in trouble for stating that it was over on youtube, lol.

So, I was right in thinking it wouldn't sound out of place on a Madhouse album! lol Thanks for letting me know the actual name of the track.

On this same "album" they have "What's My Name" listed as "Opiate" for some ungodly reason. nuts

Oh, and I guess the track wasn't so illegitimate, eh? wink Just oddly retitled.

hmmm Well, downloading from one source or another is how I've obtained almost all the unreleased Prince music I have...
