I didn't go through every post in this thread, but the most telling thing I heard was that the pills he took were mislabled, and my takeaway was that it was mislabled in a way that seemed to be on purpose. If this is actually the case, it's quite troubling that it's logical to think that he was purposely given a bottle of pills that were labled as percocet or hydrocodone or whatever, but the pills were actually lethal doses of fentanyl. Extremely troubling, and I now look back on all of the conspiracy theories that evolved initially with a more open mind.

Lots of illegal drugs are cut with fentanyl because it is cheap and a tiny amount of it dulls your pain. A lethal dose of fentanyl is just a few grains so shoddy manufacturing like in China is to blame for Prince's death, not a deliberate act. This is the same thing that is happening all over this country to people addicted to these pain pills.

I know that lots of drugs are cut with fentanyl. But two things; the reported amount of fentanyl found in his system, which they said was enough to kill a homan being of any size, and the fact that there wasn't a rash of other overdoses in the same area. It's logical to assume that if he got it from an illicit, and most likely, local source, that if there was a mistake in cutting the drug, you would have to assume that there would have been a shitload of additional od's. hence my wondering if it wasn't labled as one thing, but contained a lethal dose of fentanyl.

One thing I did notice on this show was when they showed the short clip with Oprah, asking about the baby while Prince was denying it, Mayte tried to control her mouth from puckering up to cry.

There was at least one other of these fatal dose pills found in among his other drugs and yes it was labeled something other than fentanyl, I can't remember what. We have no way of knowing when Prince got these drugs, he could have had them a long time, he had drugs in his bag and in his closet, who knows where else. We also don't know where he got them, it could have been over the Internet so there would not have to be other local deaths. But there are deaths like this occurring everywhere now.

How it gets worded sometimes makes it sound like the bottles that the pills were in were mislabeled. It was the pills themselves that were stamped exactly like a formally available prescription brand that was taken off the shelf about two years ago.

What city he got the pills is not publicly known, but many US cities are reporting major problems with this bait and switch including Minn.

correct and thanks for the clarification. It was the pills themselves that were stamped. Add to this the fact that the amount of fentanyl found in his body was reported to be enough to kill a human being of any size is what made me reconsider that this is posslbly more than an accident.

Has it ever been stated what it said on the pill bottle itself?

I watched ....I believe Prince shouldn't have left the hospital early. Also I'm not surprised he weighed 115 pounds. That's actually pretty good for his size.I always thought he weight 115-120.
Also,Pepe Willie came off a little bit jealous of Prince with saying stuff like Prince wasn't Prince anymore and that he was too far gone. What kind of mess is that?

I watched it. It was exactly what one would expect from a tv documentary with no access to more information than we already know, but wanted to do a programme nevertheless. It was the same as reading some tabloid account of his death. It was too short to actually be a significant programme about him as an artist, so it was to cash in on the hype from the grammy perhaps. I mean, how can you have a programme called How It Really Happened but have nothing to disclose or refute about what's already public knowledge?

Anyway, just wanted to say that it pisses me off when people keep saying he acted like his son was still alive, especially on Oprah. No he did not. He skillfully avoided the question by giving a carefully worded reply. Usually, when asked about a new baby, people reply with comments about how he looks, if he sleeps well, how happy they are, and so on. Prince did not say his son was alive, merely said they were very much a family and that there were many more children for them to have. It was right there, between the lines. Just because the poor man did not break down and openly stated his son had died doesn't mean he was in denial about it or OMG he was acting like his son was still alive! Mayte looks at him to let him reply and the pain is quite visible on their eyes. Prince, once again, gave a somewhat criptic reply, making sure he still told the truth. The guy was amazingly private and controlled, even in his pain. So no wonder many people never heard a thing about his injuries and physical pain in later years.

Please be reminded that this is NOT official, it is what was "leaked".

Back after the tragedy happened it was leaked that it was a percocet overdose and we found out that it was a mislabeled hydrocordon .

Let me also remind you of something I said back in the summer.

Every time there is positive news about Prince or a Prince anniversary of some type there will be a "leak" or something about his death being "drug related".

This has happened EVERY time. Now during Grammy week and the opening up of his music to the world we get a hit piece.

The media coverage of Prince's death is Character Assassination 101 and it's reeks of a black operation.

This "documentary" was really not all that. We've heard all of this info before. The part that I really did NOT like was when they mentioned that Duane's and Lorna's attorney said that Duane and Lorna told him that Prince had a cocaine problem. HLN did mention that Prince was estranged from Lorna before her death and that they both (Duane and Lorna) are deceased now. This information is highly suspect and should not have been mentioned. Prince's true fans know the story behind these 2 siblings of Prince, but the general public does not and may take what was presented in this "documentary" as gospel.

^Not only that^, but what 'attorney' gives an interview about what their deceased 'client' supposedly said. Hearsay.

--Noticed how the media never talks about Lorna stupid lawsuit and they way she acted when his dad died. All of this stuff has been documented in court files. They never talk about Duane criminal past. This guy was violent, mentally disturbed and had a history of drug use that went back to college. All of the info about his has been documented.

All of this. I'm glad someone else sees what I see when I watch that interview. Same with the Today show interview shorty thereafter (P wearing orange).

It's bothersome that we continue to say they pretended when it's just not true. They believed the child would comeback-- which is not uncommon among parents who've lost a baby to miscarriage or near birth i.e. the idea of "rainbow child".

Prince did not go on some street corner and get these drugs if he got them over the Internet the police would know by now. I firmly belive he got them from someone he knew and trusted. I also cannot understand way everyone keeps ignoring what Chris Gaither said on CNN that up until the week of his death Mr. Gaither packed P's bags and there was no drugs in those bags. His complaints about his health directly from his mouth was that his stomach was bothering him. Dozens of people along with Mr. Gaither have said they never saw Prince high. Nothing adds up.

I watched after reading the apology from Katherine Anderson and I don't feel that the apology was necessary. I maybe learned 1 new thing from watching it but I finally got to put a name and a face to Pepe Willie and Owen Husney. I would say if Andre Cymone wrote a book I would read it, with no side eye!!!!! I love hearing him talk about his time with Prince.

I watched the second screening and tried to go to sleep after but couldn't because my conspiracy theory mind was going 100 miles an hour. I try to keep those thoughts at bay, but it is still hard not knowing the full story of how Prince did. Couldn't sleep to save my life.

Beautiful, Loved and Blessed

Thank You Prince

Prince did not go on some street corner and get these drugs if he got them over the Internet the police would know by now. I firmly belive he got them from someone he knew and trusted. I also cannot understand way everyone keeps ignoring what Chris Gaither said on CNN that up until the week of his death Mr. Gaither packed P's bags and there was no drugs in those bags. His complaints about his health directly from his mouth was that his stomach was bothering him. Dozens of people along with Mr. Gaither have said they never saw Prince high. Nothing adds up.

I know Prince wasn't standing on any street corners. Don't claim to know where they came from. I did read Minn isn't immune to a growing epidemic.

Fake Prescription Drugs Laced with Fentanyl

Updated July 28, 2016

The Drug Enforcement Administration reports that the United States is in the midst of a fentanyl crisis, as traffickers are flooding the drug market with counterfeit prescription drugs containing fentanyl, an extremely powerful opioid. These pills, which look like legitimate prescription pain relievers or sedatives, are causing large numbers of fatal overdoses in many parts of the country. Because of its high potency, fentanyl is deadly in very small doses; it is even hazardous for law enforcement, as a lethal dose can be accidentally inhaled or absorbed through skin contact. For more information, see the DEA report - Counterfeit Prescription Pills Containing Fentanyls: A Global Threat (PDF, 3.1MB).

I found this very interesting but another article that was pulled from the internet site it was on was talking about Canadian mail order pharmacutical companies having fentanyl laced drugs mixed in with legitimate ones. That article appeared but has since been removed.

Something else to think about.

http://www.huffingtonpost...13274.html

"...a drug so deadly Israelโ€™s spy agency sprayed it into the ear of a Hamas leader in a botched assassination attempt in 1997 and Russian police used it in an attempt to rescue some 900 hostages held by Chechen rebels in 2002. (The drug proved more lethal in the hands of the Russian rescuers, as more than 100 of the hostages were fatally poisoned by the fentanyl-based gas.) Fentanyl was also reportedly considered for tactical roles in Vietnam."

You are right, that does seem like a strange "coincidence".
