One of the songs that has provoked the most reaction from me lately when thinking about Prince isn't actually a song by him but is rather Wendy & Lisa's "Song About". It's such an achingly beautiful song and paints an incredible portrait of the intimacy of their relationship and the mutual inspiration they took from each other to the extent that I'm usually on the verge of tears by the end of it.

Future Soul Song. Gawd, that sound comes from his soul. The lyrics paint a picture Prince visualized and others like me see and feel. His voice, sang as though he truly belived in every word. The music angelic. Awesomeness.

There are many that have caused me to burst into tears but NONE like Old Friends 4 Sale...the song just KILLS me inside, mostly because of it's total naked honesty....

Many songs, but I guess Power Fantastic is the hardest one.
