All tracks rated out of 10.

Album rating shows average album tracks to nearest decimal point.

.

You never go lower than 7 on any song??

.

I mean, to each his/her own obviously...

.

But... 'Erotic City' is a 9/10... and so is 'Had U'? Like, really?? whofarted

.

I don't get your ratings criteria, unless it's just a 'gut feeling' kind of thing. 99% of the discography gets rated 7, 8, or 9. In other words, for each song you could just as easily say: "Kinda Like It," "Like It," and "Like It A Lot"

.

Not meaning to BM all over your system, just wondering how you personally arrive at your numbers! eyepop

Busted.

It's mainly just gut feeling. I give a ten if I consider it perfect, a nine if it's simply outstanding, an 8 if it's great, a seven if it's very good and a six if it's just good.

I saw a similar rating list for Bowie's catalague on a website before and I found it useful to search out what Bowie albums I should listen to.

I Know I should go lower at times but I just kind finding enough merit in the tracks to generally afford a 7 or higher. I was expecting to give songs like 200 ballons and the arms of Orion a 6 but I actually kinda liked them when I listen to them again.

Maybe I need to spin them all again or put them all on a spreadsheet to compare whats getting what to establish a more scientific apprasail.

Maybe I'm just doing this cos I feel guilty for outing Prince about faking his death and for expressing the view that I think he's now living as Tyka in disguise. I'd probably give Boom Boom Boom a 7 as well cos I find it hilarious.

Anyway it's good to hear all the old tracks again some of which hadn't gotten an airing for years.

Good answer, and it also answers my question I give to you on the week 5 thread. It seems your 8s and 9s are more like my 9s and 10s.

.

Still giving Arms of Orion a 7, really? I gave it a 2 or a 3 lol

.

Get what you mean about relistening to some of his "lesser" albums, I already feel I have been too harsh on Graffiti Bridge, that album is a lot better than I rate it.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

ah, crikey mate!

.

I know it all comes down to personal taste and opinion and to each their own, etc etc...

.

But for some reason, it makes me sad that so many peeps consider 'Orion' to be the musical equivalent of a B.M.

.

I on the other hand consider it the musical equivalent of a BMW

Funny you say that, BMW's are pieces of shit, wannabe yuppies buy them and they are always breaking down. In New Zealand BMW drivers are usually scapegoated as being selfish and useless drivers.

.

Yeah so the car analogy may be right, in that case Adore is a Ferrari Testarossa and Lemon Crush is a Lada Riva that has been sitting on blocks at Magnetogorsk since 1991.

I have been putting it off, but will tape part two of the SOTT thing this week. The video will be a condensed history. Sorry about the delays and thanks for your notice.

.

Sorry about my opinions but I love when people have other ones. I don't agree, but respect your right to hold them. meanwhile I will get on with some more reviews.

Why? Because I don't like a song you do, seriously grow some skin and balls. If you get that emotional over something as unimportant as a song on an album, the future bodes poorly for you.

.

Just because I don't like a song, does not mean that you can not like it. Your opinion is welcoem too, live and let live.

.

A joke stops being funny when some one opposes you and you retreat into your shell. I made a couple of car analogies for a laugh not to declare war.

Haven't seen you around for a while...good to lay eyes on you... You were the first person I took note of around here after watching one of your music reviews... Any new ones?

I have been putting it off, but will tape part two of the SOTT thing this week. The video will be a condensed history. Sorry about the delays and thanks for your notice.

Looking forward to it, whenever you get around to it 🙂

Fuck, I was just making a joke.

.

Jesus H Christ, I guess I will cancel my account again

You're sach and evil man, yet another life you have destroyed. sad
