thats nothing new . We have been speculating who could have had motive since Aug.20th. Whats wrong with that? Who cares what happened to Prince? In the answer to your orgnote, Prince was quoted saying he might get killed by WB on his tour. So I guess the org wants to silence us just like they wanted to silence Prince.

Right now, I am only calculating what the cost estimate would be from the time he landed until the time he was released. I have calculated roughy 23k so far, so the number is moving upward albeit painstakingly slow. I think the last 9 months of discussion has actually shown that orgers have a whole range of opinions on the dependency/addiction issue and that any declarations that someone knows the definitive truth about Prince's entire life are just disingenuous. Hopefully the purpose of pausing discussion about drugs is not because we all agree that there's only one possible truth, but because the points of view, based in the limited info we have, get too heated. Ideally the org can remain a home for people with a range of reasonable opinions on many Prince-related topics.

You are correct. But i have come up with an explanation for everything. So sos many people have been quoted saying this " Prince never ate ". He may have really not been in an eating mood after Denise died and he had the flu and pheomonia. The flu and pheomonia was very potent last year. I know because in march i got the flu with pheomonia for the first time in my life and i had a flu vaccine that didnt even work.

you're correct in your thinking,1sasha...because if there was nothing to hide, they should have no qualms with releasing it ( the report, not death photos). And yes, there will be the ones that say "it's none of your business, we have the cause of death and that should suffice"....but it doesn't. As people have stated before, there must be something of more signifigance that would (in the family's eyes) tarnish his legacy (which NOTHING could ever do that)...being the family is content with the general public chalking his death up to the drug addict/OD angle. Why allow us to believe that? And IF that is all there is to it, why not state it, instead of sending out cryptic messages.

It's in "The Gold Experience" book, written bt Jim Walsh (just out), Jim Walsh interviewed and was supposedly close to P. In this interview, P told him that if anything happened to him while on tour that it wasn't an accident. This was during the height of the WB fued. You may have to get the book, or ask someone who has read it to post the actual line from the book.

i agree with u both and have been saying the same thing all along. how can it be preferable to have the world believe he was a drug addict?

it also makes me wonder what "true version" of events is worse than the druggie image and therefore they don't want to make it known.

That's not accurate actually and never will be. I won't go into the whys and wherefores bc there's no convincing some people, and you even have mod OldFriends4Sale on board! Laura, I read that article about his mom's book. Honest to God, the more I hear about what was swirling around Prince in his last months ... You cannot make this stuff up.
