nelcp777 said: The only comment I have with regard to Dixon and everyone else that have made bogus claims without legitimate documentation is they might as well stop. Prince loved Minnesota and was extremely loyal to his home state. It is blatantly clear that Minnesota feels the same for Prince. They love him, they are loyal to him and they have his back even in death. They are not going to allow him to be exploited. They have access to every piece of paper filed by Prince and his family in the state they have access to every document at all of Prince's properties. After over 7 months the heirs still remain exactly who Tyka said they are. I just wish these people would stop with their greedy nature, just because he did not leave a will. They are fighting a losing battle against the estate of one of the most highly regarded Minnesota son's.

I am in total agreement. It is nice to see that Minnesotta is taking care of Prince and his legacy. The residents of Chanhansen the same.

The frivolous stuff just needs to stop. Tyka and the siblings could sue, but they will spend more money and win nothing. The frivolous claims just drain more resources and the Estate. Greed and wanting 15 minutes of fame. Sad.

Thanks for commmenting and your thoughts.

I could not agree more! nod

Everybody who was associated with Prince wants to get their $$$ and 15-minutes of fame!

It's not just TMZ, other media outlets are doing it as well.

MMJ, TMZ is owned by Warner Bros and that's why they insult Prince.

This does not paint a pretty picture for JayZ:

.

Bremer Trust disputes that. In a brief dated Monday, attorney Katherine Moerke wrote that the only agreement it knows of between Prince or his companies with Roc Nation or any of its affiliates covered only "Hit n Run Phase One."

.

Roc Nation has failed to produce any other agreements despite several requests and a subpoena, she wrote. Roc Nation also has not responded to a request for an accounting of any payments, she wrote, suggesting that it still owes the estate royalties.

.

Moerke and Mason did not immediately respond to phone calls seeking comment Tuesday. Roc Nation has not formally responded to the copyright lawsuit, which NPG filed last month.

Hopefully Bremer is looking at how the files were obtained and can explain it to the Court. The lack of documentation alone will not win the case. The Estate will have to argue how the files came into ROC's possession. ROC can use that as their defense, "Hey, Prince gave us the files", implying an understanding or agreement. This will get messy and is a long way from being over.

I agree; however, without proper documention from either ROC/Tidal or Bremer/NPG there is no validity and the Judge will have the final say/ruling.

It appears Bremer and the heirs have been butting heads.

Their mutual trust and confidence eroded.

Bremer believes the heirs have hampered their monetization of the Estate.

This has been going on for awhile, we just didnt know about these issues.

Bremer stated the heirs have withheld their consent to important recording and publishing deals and as a result jeopardized critical deals that would generate funds to pay expenses and debts and taxes.

The heirs have chosen another Special Administrator, Fidicuary Trust International.

There has to be a transititon so Bremer has not actually been discharged yet.

Why can't anything go smoothly for them?

Family members of the late megastar Prince are looking for someone new to shepherd his multimillion dollar estate.

In a petition filed Tuesday in Carver County District Court, Prince's sister Tyka Nelson asked for either Fiduciary Trust Company International or Comerica Bank & Trust N.A. to replace Bremer Trust, which has served as special administrator since shortly after Prince's death.

Bremer Trust's term as special administrator has been limited since it began — a fact that one of the bank's attorneys pointed out in a letter Wednesday to Carver County District Court Judge Kevin Eide, who is presiding over the estate case.

"As you know, Bremer Trust informed the Court months ago ... that Bremer Trust was not interested in continuing as Special Administrator after its current term expires," the letter said. "That remains Bremer Trust's position."

However, the letter continued, there should be agreement among the heirs before a replacement is chosen.

"We do not believe there is a current emergency that requires the Court to appoint a successor before all non-excluded heirs have been heard and the Court is satisfied that the successor is ready and able to take over the administrative duties of this Estate," the letter said.

Why does this story bother you?

It appears Tyka wants Fiduciary Trust but there is not a consensus with the heirs.

Tyka said she would accept Comerica also.

I wonder if there were arguments about opening PP too soon?

I wonder what publishing and recording deals the heirs didnt agree with?
