Speak for yourself.

Tidal ain't shit. They aren't going to distribute CDs. They've licensed music from artists like any other streaming service.

I just want what is best for Prince's music and his legacy. I don't think Tidal has the best intentions, imo.

Tidal will lose this case, to be honest.

We know that Prince didn't like to deal with contracts and paperwork. Didn't Jay already mention Prince having made "verbal agreements"? Well, those ain't gonna mean shit without proof.

TIDAL is irrelevant anyways.

I dislike Jay Z and i didn't agree with Prince and his views on streaming and promotion.

I hope Spotify will finally make something about it and let everybody around the world get easier access to his catalogue.

Nobody can buy import cd's or vinyls or whatever.

That was Prince's fight. His family should try to make things easier for his followers around the world.

I agree. I think at the time, the Tidal deal was attractive to Prince. But, after seeing all that has transpired since Prince's passing has changed things, tremendously. I don't think Prince would be pleased with what is going on, imo.

Like all of you, I firmly believe that Prince's entire catalog needs to be available digitally in lossless format and for streaming. His life was devoted to music, and that should live on.

Whether or not it continues to be available on Tidal isn't something I care about. If it's not there, it needs to be somewhere and available in a way that the distributor and the estate agree upon. Tidal doesn't seem to have that agreement with those in charge of his estate now, which is a bit of a shame, but that's the reality.

I don't blame Tidal - that's the way Prince chose to do business and the only way they could get a deal done. And, if I were in charge at Tidal, I'd be fighting to keep my agreement with Prince intact, too. From a legal perspective, that's going to prove to be difficult.

I want to be able to get Prince music! I lost track about what's happening with this permission mess. As a member I was able to download and listen to Prince music that was hard to find. I'm a little annoyed that I woke up this morning and unable to access my playlists. I wish I was given a heads up! I'm willing to pay for the service, but for God sake work it out!
..Hello, who is it?
