I wonder about his property in.....where was it? Cabo San Lucas? Somewhere nearer the equator or something.

I read it. One is still available. I wish I could buy it
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

I'm surprised at his estate value. I honestly thought it was a lot more and considering a huge multi million dollar bill from the IRS is due soon, if this situation stressed Prince out. Fees and interest accumulate quick making plenty of room for negative debt.

I wonder what will happen with the large parcels on Galpin. I wish there was a way the Estate could hang on to them possibly for future enhancement to the PP museum. I'd hate to see it just become just another residential neighborhood. But it is the most valuable property so if the estate needs cash bad I'm sure it will be sold soon. sad

The judge approved the sale of the carribean villa as well, tho it doesn't sound like it's been listed yet, only the 4 properties in chanhassen so far. Wish I could buy the property that includes an existing "modest" home for $299,000 which isn't an outrageous price for that area.

--The real estate is worth 50 million in total. Prince did good for an artist who did not have a recording contract for 20 years.

Isn't the IRS bill mostly due to the estate taxes--in other words, his heirs owe on their sudden income, but he wouldn't have, since he already had his wealth and had paid taxes as he acquired it over the years. (And obviously all those record royalties wouldn't have happened, because the sales wouldn't have happened, either--even though that's not maybe that significant as his already acquired value).

A living Prince's tax bills and the his estate's tax bills are probably pretty different things.

Would be nice if they could move the house from Purple Rain onto the Paisley Park property and make it part of the 'tour'...

I think it would fall apart
