Wrecka Stow

I was in HMV today for the first time in ages, and was very pleased to see they sell vinyl again (including a decent selection of Prince albums). But I was surprised and extremely disappointed to see how many of their Prince cds were bootlegs. They had plenty Prince albums on cd, but about 50% of their Prince cds were bootlegs. Is this normal now?

I guess it is.
HMV is shit, has been for long enough. It's where music goes when it dies.
Fopp (owned by HMV) are far better shops with a better selection imo. HMV stores are just electrical shit now with a sprinkling of dad rock.

Aww, can't let that get to you Gardener. We've been doing that for 30 years now, don't see it ending any time soon.
I don't agree with you on this one, but I do understand. I feel the same way everytime I see "fam".

Speaking of "Prince Nuts" (no, get your mind out of the gutter) I thought I had a pretty good collection of Prince SWAG/memorabilia/paraphernalia (see image below) but this lady has me beat by like 40X's over. (see 2nd image below). Now that's what I call a Prince Collector - AMAZING!

Sweet wind blew
Not a moment to soon.
I cry when I realized
That sweet wind was you.

I believe that was Ms. Marys collection. She recently passed. I had the privilige of meeting her at a record convention in Ohio. She was so cool.
