It's a Wonderful Day is quintessential Prince

I'm talking about his voice at the 1:23 minute mark, WHOA! Such a high pitch; I often wonder what Judith Hill heard when she walked up on him singing in a high pitch while at PP. Have you heard this song? Has this been discussed already? I did a search with only older threads found. Thoughts, please.

nursev, are u listening?

It's a fun track, but I wouldn't go so far as "quintessential".

What does Judith Hill have to do with it though?

imprimis

Insubstantial but funky as an instrumental. Substandard as a complete track with vocals.

Love this tune. It gets stuck in my head for days. I always thought it would've been a great b-side. Everyone down on the 3 Party for u and me!

The part I noted, his voice was quintessential, to me. It was a high note and JH spoke about walking up on him singing in high notes. Did you you read her interview regarding the plane ride home? She spoke about it (high notes) in that interview.
