Im going to watch this now if I can find it.
I just finished watching Montreux 2009 and at the end of the show I cried too.

I also am just in disbelief over the past several days.
It is changing, isn't it.
5 months out and it is hitting me in a whole new way.
It's like i am realizing I can't bring him back as he was.

Life is so strange, isn't it?

My heart is sinking as i think about his life and write this.
It's like my mind's eye can go straight through his life in a moment and - well - it's just unbelievable that it's over as we knew it.
For now.
Or at least we think.

Prince was SO grateful all the time for his life. He was just incredible in so many ways. And I believe wise beyond any kind of comprehension that most of us will ever achieve this lifetime.

But most of all, he loved God with all his heart. He wasn't afraid to be alone with God either, I don't think.
I think he knew what this journey was about and that's what gave him courage. He knew why he was here. He didn't know what would happen, that would be playing God. But he accepted things and oh my gosh - I love this man.
Thank you Prince, from the depths of my heart for coming into my life.

I agree it's a heart wrenching one to get thru, yet so very good at the same time. He was amazing and so much was lost when we lost him. There is such a void now. After five months I want to be over the grieving already, but it still hurts. He's still on my mind, and in my heart. He was so massively gifted and talented. Those kind of cars don't pass you every day.

When Loyce hugs him at the end & you read her lips as she tells him that he's truly wonderful, you see that P is really affected by her kind words & I get chills every time.

And then he goes to change (literally and figuratively) into Jamie Starr & wrecks the stage with that performance of DMSR.

:yeahthat: He was just so incredibly vital - so dynamic, charismatic, talented, brilliant, confident, so damn sexy, the grainy video fades away and you can feel the energy coming through the screen. Takes my breath away every time. :bawl:

Plus it was such a landmark night in so many ways. Imagine being Wendy, or Albert Magnoli up in the balcony that night. The butterfly effect from that night - yeah, nothing else gets to me in quite the way this show does. I had to use that iconic line for my sig.
