I'm satisfied with being able to see the menu or the types of foods he liked. Alhough I eat meat, I'd eat all of his favorites minus some of the sweet stuff. I like more savory dishes and can do without the desesrts.

I'm with you.

Seeing the menu and the actual dishes made me smile thinking of P enjoying them.

hONESTLY, I feel the entire concept of a museum is a horrible waste of PP.

I would rather see it become an extension of Prince's beliefs for the rights of artists.

I think it should be a training ground and studio for artists who would like to OWN thiers.

I do hope some token of this remains in some way.

U.... asshole

I,I,I, it's not about you. Prince WANTED PP to be a museum and so does most of the people who love him. S* ck on a corner? You have no class barf
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were mocking me on grammar usage. ( there are some who do that, my mistake. )

And my comments are because it would be a shame for the incredible battle Prince waged for artists rights to be lost in a tourist trap. I respect what Prince wanted, sure. But you have to admit, it's as if PP has died also. And is now just a huge mausoleum.

PP is still going to be a up and running recording studio. I don't understand what difference it would make for an artist to get to keep their masters because they recorded at PP, but I don't know the record business. All I know is Prince was still signed with contracts to major labels even though he had his own studios. I would never correct someones grammar. I am very very passionate about PP being a museum, and never being sold in a private sale. That would be PP being lost.

While initially I thought this was incredibly tacky - by all accounts it looks like it was done well - I'm very happy people were pleased and I'm beginning to realize that alot of my initial reactions are coming through a cloud of grief - and every new thing further enforces that he's gone.

I believe things are happening too quickly for people to absorb. It hasn't been a full six months since his death and already PP is a museum, your feelings are shared by many.

After being on the VIP tour that lasted almost 3 hours (!!!) I was starving and the food smelled amazing. The menu was impressive and dishes very creative. I would have ordered, but was exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed. I hope that the menu stays I will order next visit. Not only does it give folks an idea of what he liked, it introduces people to new healthy tastes.

Did they have a collection of the guitars he used throughout his career?

There were! A guitar placed with the movie it was used in (Cherry Moon had the drum kit, I can't remember if there was a guitar with that display) and guitars displayed for specific tours.

I'm going next July and I specifically am interested in the Hohner telecaster that he used throughout his career. It's the pretty brown one, I love that guitar.

I'm seriously dying to try Prince's patented "Spaghetti & Orange Juice Smoothie" recipe — that I discovered in this Rolling Stone article

Prince Reigns

Satyr or shy boy? Shaman or skilled manipulator? The contradictions within rock's most controversial superstar dominate his dazzling new movie — and, it seems, the artist himself

By Kurt Loder — Rolling Stone — August 30, 1984

"…Blinn [the original screenwriter of Purple Rain] first met with Prince and Fargnoli at an Italian restaurant in Hollywood. He immediately knew there'd be strange days ahead. “I never met anyone in the world who ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce and orange juice to drink,” he recalls. “He's definitely got his own drummer going”…"

Sounds absolutely Scrum.Deli.Icious!
