I would so do this, Taste Experience, if I was ever lucky enough to be able to go.

I think of this all as an adventure for a good cause. I booked the tasting for the 14th because... Why not? I love vegetarian foods and I am curious what foods Prince liked. His personal chef mentioned red pepper bisque (I love soup) and kale salad. And something about a particular spice blend. Ethiopian? Whatever. It's all awesome.

Taste yes, cheap keychain no. cool
And the MUSIC continues...forever...

It's sad to me, seems like they are making his passing all about money.

This is a hugh building. It has to be heated and maintained. How is that going to happen without concert revenue. At one I believe Prince was getting a million a show. That money is gone and not going to be replaced. If they can make enough money to keep this going what is the big deal.

They are selling healthy food and helping local businesses. Something Prince would have supported.

Do you think cokes and McDonalds would be better?

Thanks, but it's still all hearsay ("sources said"). It states that Prince mapped it out and sent emails about plans, then where are they, show the emails and specific plans.

Who are you that you would get to see that? Sheila E mentioned this project the day after he died saying he asked her to send up some drums he wanted to display and Apples said he mentioned it two years ago. Do you think they are all in some sort of plot?

At a wedding reception my dinner has been selected by the bride and groom (and their chef), or by my host/hostess at a party in their home, and I don't find that tacky at all. I don't see the difference with Paisley Park here. It's not tacky to me to be catered to. I love this.
What?

They're using the Graceland company because that company turned elvis' estate around and made it highly profitable.

The current company is a recent (2013) purchaser. While there are a few folks around from the mostly-former Elvis Presley Enterprises, it seems an entirely different organization these days.

The Graceland representative speaking at the city Council meeting said they went to great lengths NOT to change things. Unfortunately people hear the name Graceland and think PP is being turned into Elvis's Graceland. This representative said several times that is NOT what they're doing.

As I say, this supports the community locally. I don't understand the belief that it is "creepy" or invasive. Would people rather they sell junk food or make money selling tacky knick-knack plastic toxic crap made in China? People have to eat. This, is providing a healthy educational/insightful option. I personally wish it was all vegan to be 100% ethical and cruelty free but it seems you can call ahead and request that. I am sure it is better than any other eating option nearby (especially fast food which is toxic and does not support the local community). With this choice you are supporting PP because until it gets up, running, & at least breaking-even, people should be aware it might fail. It would be nice if people would get behind supporting Prince's legacy especially in sound community oriented ethical business ventures like this one.

Good points.

What did they serve? I've seen photos of emptied plates, but couldn't tell what had been there.

I remember hearing roasted beets were a favorite.

I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

I was disappointed there weren't any sweets on the plate, but overall it was tasty. I liked the squash with pumpkin sauce and the kale chips. It didn't come with any sort of drink and they only had one POS, so I would have had to get in the gift shop line to pay for a cup of coffee.

This is the only kind of love
That I've been dreaming of
The kind of love that takes over your
Body, mind, and soul
Love to the nines

Could you get your plate to go? I can't eat while I'm emotional.

hONESTLY, I feel the entire concept of a museum is a horrible waste of PP.

I would rather see it become an extension of Prince's beliefs for the rights of artists.

I think it should be a training ground and studio for artists who would like to OWN thiers.

I do hope some token of this remains in some way.

bring eco-friendly tupperware.

Food looks lovely, (though everything looks less appealing on black plates, recycled or not.)

Right justify the margin on the menu and nix the caps on the common food items.

Otherwise, Yay! and the verbage is pleasant.
