My middle son is named Dakota. Of course the Prince influence wasn't there when I named him, as far as I know, but Prince later owned on a house at 8016 Dakota in Minne, and of course, the famous shows at The Dakota Jazz Club. My daughter's name is Cara which means "friend", "Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother, Wife". Of course, I didn't name her that because of that song, but she was named after 5 women. | |

She has 27 letters in her full name. She's going to hate us if she ever has to sign her full name. But Social Security and the birth registrar made a mistake on her papers and instead of Anne-Marie as a middle name, they wrote Ann-Marie, so legally she has 26 letters in her name, the same number of letters in the Alphabet. A cat followed me home one day. In hindsight I realized it was to make sure I was "ok", and then she left. A little while later I heard a rather loud "meow" and went outside to see if she had returned. She had returned, but left before I got outside. However, she had left a little ball of fur behind.....her little Kitten! x I named this kitten Prince - this was the height of my fandom for the Man! It was in 1985....I was 17 at the time. x | |
