Prince songs in movies Did Prince allow folks to use his songs in movies ?
I am watching Confessions of a Shopaholic and I heard his batman song. I was curious about other movies that feature his songs.

In Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts is singing to KIss in the bathtub.
But there is also the music that he allowed in soundtracks...like Girl 6, Bamboozled, Bright LIghts Big CIty, Show Girls (which has 319 and Ripgodazippa), Happy Feet, Batman of course, and I think I might be missing some.

Didn't Baz want him for two songs for "The Great Gatsby?" I am sure we shall hear a lot more of Prince in movies now that the Estate is seeking additional revenue streams. | |
