Prince said he went to studio rehab as well. I wonder who conducts those, rehabs for musicians who stay in a studio too many hours. R they costly? What kind of background or experience do you need to be a studio rehab counselor.

At the very least you need to have a sense of humour! Might be a carreer there for ya, Bob. biggrin

I can't figure out if this is a jab or genuine compliment...

...then I couldn't figure out what I was talking about without going up a couple posts for some context...

...this post is all kinds of problematic...but very funny once I reminded myself the context. Prince saying he didn't have a cell phone. Haha...that's a whole lotta bovine-excrement. But heaven help us all if that assclown from loveline has anything to do with studio rehab...and I'm not talking Carrolla... Headline News has fully transformed that fool from a Dr. to an assclown. And I held this opinion before the name Prince ever crossed his lips.

Did anyone else note that these people are standing with their backs to lions in a tree?

I'm just looking, thinking, that's got to be a picture backdrop.

No it's not a backdrop. They were on safari.

They even got to take pics where they were sitting down touching the "big cats"/

It looks outdoors. I'll caulk it up to one of those prespective shots but it sure makes me visually uncomfortable.

i find all of prince's 'close friends' lacking. all of them are amazingly well placed with media but short on knowing he was in trouble.

i'm feeling salty about all these 'close friends' getting their google results fluffed out... yet our genius is no longer..maybe ihad too many margeritas tonight sad

.

Nah, it's not the Margarita's........I feel the same way you do!! Prince had so many friends and people loved him, yet he is gone. sad

You ever thought that she was trying to make the point that everybody needs help sometimes. The idea of therapy is shunned when you're a black woman since you're supposed to be superwoman and just "grab life by the horns" maybe that was her way of saying "me too"

I tried to kill myself once, and one day I decided to get on Facebook and tell my story. Not for sympathy or for attention but to call attention to something serious. And you know what? I had 15+ inboxes of people opening up and sharing their stories with me and thanking me for putting it out there and not making them feel alone. I think the org has a tendency to be overly critical of the people in his life and I don't get it, at all. It's her story to tell, let her tell it. So what if he was a super star he was still one of her best friends.

sorry but the cynic in me has to question WHY she made this public. a person suffers a traumatic loss, they get therapy. we get it. she could have tended to her needs without making it a public spectacle. IMO, just another attempt to get attention or reinforce to the world that they were SO CLOSE that now she needs therapy to get over it. as to the therapy, i say good for her. as to making it public, i say what is the motive? yeah, i am jaded. too many people talking about how sad they are about their "close friend" being gone. meanwhile, he is still dead and they are making records/going on tour/getting google hits, etc. where the hell were they all when he was dying? pfffft.

Bingo! I have to agree with this. I do believe there are some that are truly devastated by his loss, but in many cases some are just trying to reinforce/convince others that they had a "close" relationship with the man. IMO - Tamron should've kept this private. Although, in this day and age, most people don't know what real privacy is anyways. rolleyes

He really did not have a cell phone.....think about how on the fringe healthy he was. The things he would avoid. He has spoken out against flouride in the past as being poisonous, he never microwaved his food, and he also even tweeted one time, this was one of his tweet and deletes, that the he does not have a cell phone because he felt the microwave radiation they produce is harmful.

None of that seems far fetched for Prince imo.

No one can say for sure whether or not Prince had a cell phone. Only the people who he gave the number to would know for sure. I know people who say they don't have a cell phone, but they do. They only give out the number to a few close friends and some family members. It's not out of the question for Prince to have been like that.

Well, I assumed your post was a joke, so I just went along with it. You don't really believe there is such a thing as studio rehab now, dontcha?
