Yes! I had actually never heard this until a few months ago (via Tidal), then I bought the album...that chorus is something else...like, it feels like those lyrics meant a little something extra to our boy.

Right, but I'm saying that this one seems even more personal than other similarly-themed songs of the era. It feels almost like some sort of mission statement.

Felt the same way. Listened to the song just the other day and I had something like: 'Hmm, this is a bit sour with the things we know now'.
