Top story on all the local 5pm newscasts. Apparently they want to build a small hotel too. Not sure where exactly.

What a ride we have had this week eek. With all the crappy news and speculation floating around this has been a tough one for all of us, but this news is fantastic! biggrin. I'm so happy for everyone who is going to walk through those doors come October, you lucky devils!!!! Hope I can make the journey one day and take it all in and pay my respects without spending the entire time balling my eyes out.

Yes!!!! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Prince’s Iconic Paisley Park to Open for Public Tours this Fall St. Paul, Minn., August 24, 2016 – Paisley Park, Prince’s extraordinary private estate and production complex in Chanhassen, Minnesota, will open for daily public tours starting October 6, 2016. The family of Prince Rogers Nelson and Estate special administrator, Bremer Trust, are pleased to share this plan to realize Prince’s long-term vision for the property. Millions of Prince fans worldwide will have the unprecedented opportunity to tour the legendary, 65,000- square-foot complex, which served as the production studio and creative oasis for one of the greatest and most beloved music artists of all time. “Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on,” stated Tyka Nelson, Prince’s sister. “Only a few hundred people have had the rare opportunity to tour the estate during his lifetime. Now, fans from around the world will be able to experience Prince’s world for the first time as we open the doors to this incredible place.” Read more: http://www.ci.chanhassen..../view/3039 ********** Sign up for email updates: Tour tix: http://www.officialpaisleypark.com/ - luv4u

The gift shop idea is what kills me. Just. Can't. But I've been dreaming of a "music buffet." Where you can burn CDs of music you want. All of it. B-sides, limited releases, bootlegs. Every song you ever wanted but couldn't get. sigh I can dream...
And the MUSIC continues...forever...
