Housequake recently posted this on their Facebook page, and it was pretty cool. Even at 19 or so, his handwriting was bomb. I looked in DMSR and could not find a song called "Amber Eyes" in any recording sessions. It's longer than "I'm Yours" (which isn't listed), so I doubt it's another version of that song.

You'll also notice a much shorter version (by almost half) for "Just As Long As We're Together". "Crazy You" is shorter here, too. Some other times vary by only a few seconds.

These were up for sale, for a mere $7,000.

Awww...Make It Through The Storm almost made it. Looks like he took it off for extended Just As Long As We're Together...hmmm....

Not so good with the maths. Side one songs have a total of 10 min and 150 sec, ie 12:30, not 11:50. Minutes aren't decimal, and we klnow Prince didn't do time.

He didn't have a calculator.

Prince had beautiful handwriting! His handwriting shows how creative he was and how he viewed the world as a beautiful place. I would love to see someone analyze his handwriting.

i guess he should have left the adding of minutes and seconds on each side to someone else. utterly hilarious that he couldn't pick up on the fact that there aren't 100 seconds in a minute.

saw this on fb, his handwriting was GORGEOUS! especially his capital "B" - makes you realize EVERYTHING was art to him. the way he wrote, dressed, placed his fingers on a guitar or a thigh... he saw the beauty in so many things.

Is this on the back on a vinyl insert sheet?

I haven't heard the title "Amber Eyes" previously. However, we know he recorded additional material during the FY sessions so it may be one of the extra pieces with another title? Interesting that it apparently was considered for release.

I did see that. But with the chance of so many titles being similar over time, I dismissed it the same way there are two or three "17", two "7", two "Girl", etc. But, it's probably a strong possiblity here.
