It strikes me at least once but usually repeatedly throughout the day that the most random thing reminds me of Prince. I was curious if others out there have those same experiences and if so, what are the words/phrases, everyday objects etc that reminds you of Prince. Maybe some that ALWAYS remind you of him every time you see/hear it, and any unexpected ones that made you smirk in his memory.

I'll start.

Buttons. Buttons of any kind seem to remind me of him.

Interesting colour combinations might make me thing, hmm, that looks like something Prince would wear.

And of course a couple obvious ones:

Aall things purple, Doritos and when someone says the word pits in any context

Anything purple.

Uptown is a good one too. The upper region of this city is called Uptown - oldest city in Western Canada. Flags along the streets shout it out. Prince reminds EVERYWHERE - It's kind of cool in that regard.

Lyrics for me too. I was explaining something work related earlier this week and caught myself saying, it's a sign of the times. I love when Prince lyrics spill out into everyday conversation
