I like the Gold Experience version better. For one thing, it was the first one I heard, so it's burned into my brain. Also, the remix-y stuff on Crystal Ball just didn't click with me. |

As for the song, I never liked it very much at all. If I had to choose a favourite version, it would be the live version from 1995, because introduced it in a funny way, saying things like, take your children outside, it's gonna get nasty! I love the gold ex,album version best. Catchy as hell. Didn't like the live version cuss of the backing tape played behind it. Prince used a backing tape for the Pussy Control line. Put me off. |

I am a woman and I vote for P.Control on TGE album because like someone else said, that version was burned in my brain too- I played that one out back in the day. I always have loved that song. The remix on CB is ok, but I prefer the original.
