Prince and Miles - some new info

http://pitchfork.com/thepitch/1114-inside-miles-davis-prince-obsession-as-detailed-by-davis-family-and-collaborators/

Marcus Miller says he wrote "Full Nelson" for Miles' album Tutu after hearing Prince's contribution (Can I Play With U?), which was so different from the other material. He was asked to mix Can I Play... and wanted another song in that vein to bridge the gap. "Can I Play..." was pulled, and "Full Nelson" remained.

My assumption, then, is the that the title is a reference to Prince (Nelson). Anyone know any other background info on the album, or song?

I also read in that article mention of an album, some sort of Prince-MIles collabo (Rubberband project) that I had never heard of. One song is thought to have surfaced on Doo-Bop.

Great article overall.
