Judith Hill's story versus Tamron Hall's

I've been thinking about Judith Hill's story of what happened on the airplane that night Prince overdosed. Judith's story is very different from Tamron's. Judith Hill's quote: He told her: “‘I had to fight for my life. I remember hearing your voices from afar and saying to myself, ‘Follow the voices, follow the voices, get back in your body, you gotta to do this.’ And he said it was the hardest thing he’d ever done, to get back into his body like that.”

Now, Tamron said that when she questioned Prince about that night, she said that Prince insisted he was "fine". Maybe Tamron did not want to reveal if Prince had said anything more to her, but we all know that Prince was very close to Tamron (she said they spoke every day). We know that Prince was a very private Man, and maybe he did not want to tell people how he was really feeling, which is really sad and a shame, in my opinion, because he had so many people who sincerely loved him and cared about him.

Or maybe, a young woman was being overly dramatic to bring home the point to everyone that they were so close and intimate.

It's easy to give your own embellished version of events when your are the only living witness to what happened.

Yes, that could be the case too!

Yes, perhaps he was feeling "fine" at the time he was talking to Tamron. But, she specifically asked him about that night he had to make an emergency landing.....just seems odd for him to say he is "fine"....Maybe Tamron did not want to talk about it, which could be the case.

Kirk was there, also, at the hospital.

I don't know why everyone is doubting Judithy -- and Tamron's version has NOTHING to do with it, because she was not there. By the time TH talked to P, he was telling everyone he was "fine".

Like these are conflicting stories of the same event. NOT. 2 different convos from 2 different people. Trying to read something into every straw. Doesn't that start making people crazy after a while? I couldn't do it.

I'm not doubting Judith's story, I just feel that maybe Tamron knows more about what happened than she is willing to reveal. I guess that is her right.

What is with this dislike of this young woman? She experienced something horrific happen right in front of her eyes to someone she was close to, then lost him a week later for good. She's been nothing but respectful in her statements about Prince. God bless her. Hope she's doing well.

In that same NYTimes article about Judith Hill was this line:

"Still, Prince initially played down the hospital incident to his camp, Ms. Hill said. Worried, she helped tip off others that he was in a serious situation."

So Judith herself said that he was "downplaying" the incident to other people. That seems confirmed -- no contradicted -- by Tamron Hall saying her told her he was "fine."

(And I also don't understand some people's suspicions around Judith Hill. Clearly she was close to Prince -- she was one of only 2 people he invited on that plane with him. She seem lovely to me, and I wish her well.)

Indeed. She went through a traumatic experience. If we, as fans are mourning his passing, how much more Judith Hill who was close to him and was there when he became unconscious at the plane and died a week later. sad

Considering all the venom for Kirk, I'm not surprised at the dislike for Judith. But again we don't really know how much of what she said is true vs. embellished.

For whomever is keeping an unofficial record, I don't know Judith Hill so I have no reason to like OR dislike her...I also think that although she was there during the plane incident, her account strikes me as an attempt to prove that they were so "special and intimate". I don't hold it against her. I think she had/has a crush on him and that she's overstated the nature of their relationship.

I don't hate her. I simply don't believe some of what she says happened, specifically things that ONLY she and P were witness to.

He's not here to say, "Well, it didn't quite happen that way..."
