Prince can hardly walk in this clip

If you go to youtube and click on "Prince Chillin at a normal game" and view the clip, as Prince is leaving, someone takes his arm and helps him down and when he goes to walk out the door, he is holding onto the wall and can hardly move his left leg. This was in December 2005. What was going on with him then?

I don't notice anything abnormal. He stands on that leg on the way down, then jumps. Everything seems fine to me.

I'm fine thank you! biggrin I think the "limp" thing that you notice at the end is just that cool dude walk he sometimes did. Not a proper limp. It's a beautiful day here. sun

I think that "cool guy walk" was very obviously a way to mask the limp he had from his 40s onward. Just my opinion.

I must be blind. He did a way better job getting down the stairs than the 2 women he was with. Maybe his leg was asleep?

Yeah, happens to me as well when I get up to walk after sitting for awhile and I'm younger than Prince.

Oops, I am guessing that's the proper term to use for this expression, and a very tactful way of correcting me, thanks! smile

Thank you for posting this clip. This game was at Torrey Pines which is in San Diego in So Cal.

+++

I do not think it shows much other than it's cool for him to be chillin' at a regular H.S. basketball game. I wonder who he was with and why he chose to go to this game. It's cool.

+++

I only saw that when he got off the bleachers and started to first walk, his left leg was stiff but then when he took the next step on the left leg it was normal. Maybe his leg/hip got stiff from sitting on those hard bleachers, they are not comfortable for anyone.

Nothing to see here. He's fine. I think that is Tamar and her mom that he is with.

.

But there is other evidence?

In this 2008 interview, it's noticed that he's "limping slightly".

In his last P&M Toronto performance (March 2016), it's reported he "... walked on stage with a limp, leaning on a cane, but went on to offer up an energetic musical performance on a grand, purple piano that earned him rave reviews."

In other news, "journalist" mistakes Prince's cocky strut for a limp.

Is that synonym for "cool guy walk"?

I watched the clip, and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. As anyone under 5'6" knows, school bleachers can be a pain to navigate.

How do we know this one was a cocky strut and not a limp? I'd need to see video to know for sure.

Did you miss the part where he was in a wedge heel walking off bleachers? Or the part when he jumped and bounced onto the floor? Y'all need to stop with this hip surgery-overthinking-it-shit.

I was thinking his leg may have been asleep and he was getting that tingly feeling when you first get up.Or maybe he was just a little stiff from sitting on the bleachers?

Side note was that Tamar and her mom? Hard to see.I thought I heard/read somewhere that Tamar's mom made some of his outfits. I heard the rumors of course about him and Tamar.She referred to him as "Uncle Prince" so I was just wondering if they may have been at a Tamar's family member(brother,nephew) game chilling?

Already said that. I guess it was his latest project at the time. He seems to like working with girls who get booted off of The Voice.
