Videos of the last Atlanta concerts

These are just so hard for me to watch...to know what his fate was...that these were the last recordings of him alive..his talent in playing...

Just so sad

I agree, I have watched them as they are not long. I still have not listened to the audio of the Atlanta shows though, but intend to soon as I think I may be almost able to cope with that now. But yes, it is so so sad to see Purple Rain from Atlanta and the other little clips neutral

Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

I caught a video from it on Instagram before it was removed where he does 'Nothing Compares 2 U'. The lyric change he did literally killed my heart. "I went to the doctor and guess what he told me? He said, 'Prince you need to have fun no matter what you dooooo'". sad sad

Yeah that made me cry too..so he told us, but we didnt catch it. When I was listening to him sing Waiting in Vain one of the ladies in the crowd said he was about to make her cry. So Im sure the audience felt it too sad

Two things stand out for me. First, he played and sounded so good to be someone who was hours away from a near death experience and days away from death. He had so much more left to give. Lastly, when he looked to the sky after the final note of Purple Rain it was chilling. He always acknowledges the man above, but this one was different.

My sons 20 something year old friend drew this and my son sent it to me. It made me happy and sad at the same time sad eek Happy that younger people are now finding Prince, but sad that he had to die for them to do that. Its a great drawing though.

We've grown up with him, most of our lives he's been there. It's strange. All that magic just gone. 3 months...next to 30 odd years...big loss, don't know I'll ever get used 2 his absence, but like my other big loses I'll probably assimilate the gap/space/hole or whatever u wanna call that feeling
sad

U know I seriously feel like apart of me is empty...Prince took it with him in April. I think I will always feel that way...life goes on but something is not the same since he left.

Yeah. People can be incredibly insensitive when you're grieving family, so I didn't have much hope 4 sensitivity with P. A little slips out known again, but I cut myself short coz it's profound, & it somehow cheapened it or something.

I just dont talk about it anymore to regular everyday folks...most of them thought that Prince stopped recording after PR anyway so their opinion means squat to me lol
