Prince always lived & reacted in the moment - truly loved that about him!

there was never a dull moment, every year something new, always chaos, batshit crazy business decisions, all types of songs released [some stunning....some not so!], last minute tours, hire/fire, cease & decists[!!] love hate relationships with social media...love hate relationship with fans! It was never boring...what a ride..he gave us it all...he worked through the pain barrier with spectacular success & the odd mis-hit! That is why...& I suspect many us adored him..we just couldn't keep up!

Truly he did, that's why I think many of us loved him yet were constantly confused by him.

I meant to add that is what makes his passing so hard, he truly lived out every aspect of his life in the public eye via his music. What a brave soul!

Then he would sure be disappointed by how every single thing he ever did is being dissected, dug up and rehashed on the org right now... it's kinda mind numbing to watch people ask the same topics over and over and over again... beating a dead horse trying to keep the fervor going ... and it's going to become apparent because he's gone and there's no new stuff or news coming out to obsess over it seems

Every day people seem to want to ask the same question "what prince song did you think about today?"... like damn.. that's when you start crossing over from fam to fan... I'm sure he was convinced there are a lot of fans.. with an N exist on this site lol. I've noted quite a few... I want to see how long people can sustain this

PRINCE - MY GOD WE MISS U.X.

.

Especially his last minute concerts. The excitement and fervour to get a ticket. I so so miss him too. The Piano & Microphone tour was a dream of mine. He was going to come to Eu, then didn't and then he just didn't finish. So sad I still can't, don't want to understand what the hell he was using Fetanyl patches for. If he were here I would beat his arse so hard with his cane!! lol Man, man , man....

here's a thing...if Prince career from 88 onwards were to be managed by his harshest critics on here what would we have?...a caged free spirit...a corprate animal....predictable/safe albums..slick marketing...in other words Cold Play!

There is no way that someone THAT unique, THAT free of thought & THAT bloody bonkers [!] could folllow a straight line.

Thank God he did it his way.

i can remember people were complaining about this....especially during hit and run announcements.

Because of this way of handling tourschedules most of the time u were not able to attend a concert. Yeah, that was really a good way to treat a fan.

I didnt like it when in may 2014 he tweeted that he was looking for a location in brussels for an aftershow. The rumour was out that he would play in a club over there. I drove there for 3 hrs. after seeing a gig in Holland only to find out that the gig would not take place. The day after there was an announcement that there would be a show in the evening. I went and he played but driving to a show for nothing is crazy. We are not 16 anymore and we have responsabilities, families etc. You couldnt plan anything if you didnt want to miss out on a show ...

although he chilled in latter years i think. The fact that he got so bored...so quickly with each project led to constant creativity. Like i said..you can never tame a free spirit like that.
