I'm surprised no one did an article about all the different hairstyles he wore over the years. I think the Typhoon was the most over-the-top.

Haha! I love how he mentioned in an interview that he hated strangers touching his hair... But the man had AMAZING HAIR, which is why said strangers wanted to touch it! But you know damn well that if I would've had the chance, I would've given EVERYTHING to lay in P's bed and run my fingers through his mane over and over again. I'm thinking Graffiti Bridge or Batman hair. MMMMMMMMMMMMM. And I would've also LOVED to lay in P's bed and pull one of his Purple Rain curls and have it bounce back into place. He would've giggled at something like that. I think that could be my entertainment for an entire day!

Typhoon..I didn't know it had a name
too much gel on the sides with those fingerwaves.

I hate to think this way but maybe he kept an afro for the last few years because there were enough times where he was just alone, doing drugs or trying to get off drugs - and he could just easily get his hair ready by himself and not have a hairstylist around or a hair salon, which he kept for years.

Yes he had full chunkiness in those lovely lips As we get older we lose fullness in our faces; cheeks, lips, etc. its called the aging process Sucks.

Prince could never run out of hair styles. I was just waiting for the cornrolls...would've loved that!

I haven't noticed this, but that's pretty interesting. I LOVE watching interviews where he licks or bites his lips... I'm mainly thinking about the Larry King interview, but I know there are more where he does this.

I also think Andy inspired the fro...seemed like after dating her, he took the plunge and grew it out. He even hints at it in a couple songs (Anotherlove for example). I loved him with the fro. Glad to see more people embracing their fros/natural hair again.

This was one of my least favorite styles for Prince. Lol!! This comment had me laughing even when I was trying to fall asleep last night. Thanks for the laugh, I needed it!

Been so sad about P's passing lately. My niece gave her Dad Ozzie Osborne tickets for his birthday yesterday. After I got off the phone with them, my first thought was - Ozzie is alive and Prince is gone!!! How is that even possible?

That era was his most weavy, so he may not have wanted you to run your fingers through it I like it when it's mostly his, Rave era was divine (minus the plaits)

I guess you're right, but DAMN did his hair look GOOD during that era. I also have grown into liking the afro look on him. I used to not like it, but I'm actually glad that he went back to the afro. He definitely rocked it out and made it look phenominal. I would've wanted Prince hair back in the day if I could've pulled it off!
