hug I know. It's incredibly depressing if I dwell on this too. I am trying to stay positive in hopes Paisley Park will be clever in releasing items in the vault sporadically - like perhaps annually on his birthday or something. That way have new Prince music to look forward too. Unlike some people here that want it ALL now, I'd prefer it like spaced out, that way can absorb the music over time, and look forward to new Prince music. Also hoping they they release his concert footage - especially ones only released on DVD to like Japan or UK beg Time will tell I guess.

yes, a sensible plan to release music is SO important to protecting/preserving his legacy. I'd like to see something new accompany some remasters. Hopefully we'll get those now.

But yeah, Into the Light/I Will might even top The Marrying Kind/If Eye.... as the best sequenced 2-fer. Or maybe the content is doing it to me

Those two tracks in sequence are pure bliss. I read somewhere that there's a way to 'glue' two tracks together in iTunes so that they always play together, even on shuffle, but I can't remember how it's done. Anyone know?

bheart bheart bheart i love those too, & listening to them tears me up. after a few years w/o my P music (natural disaster), i subscribed to Tidal. i was shocked to realize i feel more tender nostalgia for C&D than for TGE. my teenage self was all about everything he put out, but if i had to choose a fave at that time, TGE would've been it.

i did sob at the line in Gold, "what's the use in being young if you ain't gonna get old" when i first listened post-April.

Still Would Stand All Time really got to me also. but i could make a long list of songs that will now always have that bittersweet effect.
