CONFLUENCE....Piano & Microphone shows

We saw the PP show on Jan 21 and he did not use any prelude music, however the other shows we saw and or have listened to have this music from the"Geisha" score as the opening tune. Any thoughts or notions about the significance of this song? Its lovley.

At the Sydney opera house this intro sounded amazing due to the acoustics. It was perfect as it let everyone know the show was about to start and set the mood. Loved the choice
