i used to wonder why he took Horney Pony off the album when he added Gett Off
and left Jughead on there lol

wouldn't have been a whole lot better, but HP is at least not as bad as JH.

and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Yeah HP is way better. My Mrs pointed out to me if i go the same amount of time without listening to Jughead again, I'll be turning 70! eek

It could really be that's the case.

I would not suggest this. I was watching a live performance of London June 15, 1992 and amazed and disappointed that this song was done live and followed by Purple Rain. Talk about going from one of the worst to the best.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I'm just thankful that Tony only lasted 2 (widely) released records. Yeah, I know about the Gold N*gga record, but I don't count that as a Prince release.

I'm amazed that Kirky J. lasted longer in Prince's camp than any of the Revolution members.

What a joke.

I'm hoping there's a version of Jughead in the vault w/o Tony. "Call The Law" would be nice too. Such a great song otherwise. I'd settle for instrumentals of both. They're in there. We know this because we heard all of those instrumental versions of various songs during the 2013 shows...

This is how I knew I was grieving. It came on shuffle and I kept it on and enjoyed it.

I dont understand all the hate for jughead. Prince would throw one of these at us from time to time. I remember playing "Tamborine" in my car in the 80's and everybody thought I had lost my mind. It's one of Prince's worst vocals ever I think. I do like the beat though.

omfg You're comparing the horrid Jughead to TAMBORINE??!!!! omfg omfg omfg THIS WILL NOT STAND!!! TAMBORINE IS EVERYTHING!!! lol falloff Seriously, I loooooove Tamborine, to put the joke that is Jughead anywhere near it is offensive, omg biggrin

Just goes to show though - one mans Jughead is another woman's Tamborine, his catalogue is DEEP headbang

I also like Jughead...I just ignore the "Get stoopid!", otherwise it's a got a good groove and fits in nicely on very happy-spirited album.

I'll take that over something like Silly Game anyday of the week.
