Prince weirder than Michael Jackson? I'm attracted to weirdness, so I have no problem with Prince or Michael Jackson being weird.
Anyway, I was thinking... I always beleived Prince was weirder than MJ. Michael Jackson might have been interested in the Elephant Man's bones, but what guy would pen a song titled "Fast Fred the Roller Disco King"? lol!! | |

I love them both, but no one was weirder than Michael Jackson. Yes Prince gender bended a bit and worte some bizarre music, but he did not live in no state of suspended childhood in a compound surrounded by Merry Go Rounds and children, or have his face surgically realtered all the time. MJ was clearly weirder with the surgery and his predilection for sharing his bed with young boys of a certain age. Michael Jackson was unundoubtedly a paedophile. It hurts me to say that because I was a huge fan for many years, and he was a childhood hero of mine. I can still appreciate the music, but MJ really let me down. It's funny, because I started off thinking Prince was really weird, which was when I was a huge MJ fan. But after years of being a Prince fan, I now think that MJ was the weirdest of the two. I was never able to relate to MJ's universe like I was with Prince's. Prince also seemed far more approachable, I mean, you could actually speak to him during a concert and he'd reply to you. He also talked often about normal stuff with fans, like he was one of us. Unless we're all weird, but then we'd have to set a proper definition of what "weird" actually means, if that's possible.
