I Wore a Raspberry Beret

by Leone Ross

Before I met Prince in 1995, I liked to think we’d had a moment. I think it was the year before, at some wrap party.

I enjoyed this immensely thank you...

I loved the part where she said we are the children of the revolution.

Yes. We. Are.
Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

Hmmm....and yet I just read an interviw with Rosie where she talks about him never coming over (but she would have wanted him to)....until the time he drove over and sat her in his car, to listen to music. Then he left.

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

That was really sweet. Who wouldn't want to be able to have a moment like that with Prince?

The bit about his relationship to food was a bit worrying. I know he's talked about fasting, but bulimia? I hope not. sad

i can't buy the bulimia thing, not only because he doesn't fit the profile of a bulimic but also because it would wreak absolute havoc on his vocals, particularly his falsetto.

Not to mention it really messes with you physically. You'd see damaged teeth and whatnot, because the stomach acid tends to ruin the teeth, via discoloration and everything else. Which, unless he had them all replaced, was never in evidence. And I THIINK the autopsy report we saw would have mentioned that.
