imtbone	Base Drum Light/Mics Revolution Era For some reason I have always been facinated with the 'base drum' light from the Revoltuion era. I always thought it was cool and loved the use of it in the Purple Rain film. Does anyone know anything in detail about it? What exactly was it? How it came to be in use? Etc..... Also, what brand microphones did Prince use back then?

steakfinger	I have no idea about the how they rigged up the bass drum lights, but the micorphone was a Sennheiser MD431.
