Does anyone agree that the "Shhh" live performances,
no matter the era, are most of the time baffling,
and at times otherworldly?

One of the songs that continuely surprises me, when played live.

For several years after TGE release, I used to think "Shhh" was a fine song,
but a little over the top : those big fat operatic drum rolls, I thought they were too much,
and now I can't wait for them to kick in, right before the solo, always starting on that sustained high note.

"Shhh" has maybe, maybe, even more kick-ass live soloes than "Purple Rain".

This song was written to be played live.
The studio version is just a good live studio take, probably.

Shhh live is INCOMPARABLY Fierce! SO Damn Good! In fact, I find myself searching for different 'Shhh' videos to compare thinking...there's no way they can top _____ performance. And then BAM, there it is!
