Virtual Tour of PP Memorial

I posted this on the homepage directly as well, but...

Gigapixel Imaging, a company headquartered just down the road from Paisley Park, and counting Prince fans on their staff, has madea super-cool 'virtual tou... and paths, showing the entirety of the amazing memorial fans have created. It's like higher-res Google StreetView, where you can see all of the wonderful tributes people have left. Check it out -- it's so touching, and really helps "take you there". Big props to Gigapixel!

It's super cool.

Thanks for bringing notice of this Ben.

How fitting that it goes into a tunnel with glowing light at the end.

Incredible, especially for those of us at a distance!

I love all the personal touches, drawings, shirts, etc. Has anyone here been there personally & read some of the dedications? ...it really hits home.

I wonder what will happen to all of it in the future... ?

Outstanding!

If you sorta squint a little bit, the balloons and papers starts to look kinda like the Purple Rain album background.

cool

A friend of mine who still lives in MPLS (my hometown) took a bunch of great, closeup photos of many of the memorial offerings. I was honestly moved by all the people who left Doritos. I ate so many Doritos at Paisley Park back in the day. Prince was very generous, even with something as small as giving people something to snack on at 2 in the morning.

I was just there again today doing a favor for a fellow org member. I didn't think I would cry again as I've been there 3 times since his passing and I wasn't feeling nearly as emotional. But as I walked along and read some of the words people left I got choked up again and told myself not to stuff it down, to just let it go and so I wept a bit again. Being so close to where he took his last breath, where I last saw him alive, where I had planned to enjoy many more fun evenings making some of life's best memories. Even when Prince didn't perform the dance parties etc at PP were still magical.

Try clearing your cache or using an incognito window. Otherwise test a different browser to see if it's a computer issue or a browser issue. If you're at work it could also be the network side blocking things like this.
