None of the news accounts I've read have revealed who dropped him off Wednesday yet, but Wednesday was a very busy day for Prince and his inner circle, in addition to both of the doctors mentioned in news reports thus far. We still haven't been filled in on the details, so all else is speculation.

It wasn't Larry. He last saw Prince on April 17th or 18th according to this interview. Link: https://www.yahoo.com/mus...37999.html

Maybe his typical driver dropped him off? He did go to the doctor and Walgreens afterwards earlier that day. The chef was there that night and was told that he could put the dinner in the fridge and go home.

None of this matters. Prince wasn't planning to pass on and he unintentionally left a bunch of orphans behind (us!) and we are just trying to deal with it in the best way possible and continue to have his life and music have a place in our lives...and meaning like it always has. That is what is important.

It won't bring him back but putting the pieces together will help us. Bruce Lee had lots of fans who went through years confused just because the coroner etc.., decided to fudge or omit information. I don't think anyone's happy with lies.

uh, prince was a public figure, people want to know. He's no differnt than any other public figure who dies, people will fill in the blanks, just like they did with Elvis, Michael, Jimi etc.., I know Prince's wish for privacy rubbed off on his fans but yes, we want to know.

Your comment about leaving a bunch of orphans behind reminds me of two things...

...a statement that Prince was like an older brother figure to people who felt left out in their families (I read this in a journalist's article on him after his death)

...and what Prince wrote not long ago to a bunch of his twitter followers- 'You are all officially adopted.'

Just thought I'd mention it.

i really wish i'd had the resources to go and see his shows at PP. It's a contradiction but he may have been the most accessible rockstar ever, which sounds strange to even say.

I read somewhere that that "final" picture of Prince was really a picture of him getting his license renewed at the DMV a few weeks before.

Yes the family deserves to know. And he said himself at the Atlanta show that the people there were "family".

There was a lot of discussion here about that photograph, and I'm pretty sure I recall that an orger who lives in the area actually drove to that Walgreens and confirmed that the photo was indeed taken there (although I guess it's possible it wasn't taken a different day than the Wednesday afternoon that was claimed...? I don't know about that part.). But maybe there's a DMV office near that Walgreens?

No, it's been confirmed exactly where the photo was taken. You can even see it the exact parking spot on Google Maps if you play around in street view.

All this is really none of our busniess, nor does it really matter at this point. However, I understand wanting to know the details. These are the facts that I know of during the last few days. Saturday, April 16th, he was seen riding his bicycle around Chanhassen and also went to Electric Fetus in South Minneapolis. There was also a party that evening at Paisley Park. He was seen riding his bicycle around Paisley Park, Monday, April 18th. He attended a show at The Dakota Jazz Club with Kirk and Meron Tuesday evening, April 19th. Wednesday, April 20th, he saw a doctor at North Memorial Clinic in Minnetonka, located on highway 7. After leaving the doctor, he was photographed waiting in the parking lot of Walgreens, also located on highway 7. Kirk Johsnon dropped him off at Paisley Park. The chef was at Paisley Park and Prince told him he could leave. That night, Kirk Johnson picked up Andrew Kornfeld from the airport and took him to a hotel in Chanhassen. He was to meet with Prince the following morning. Kirk, Meron, and Andrew went to Paisley Park Thursday morning. Andrew waited in the lobby while Kirk and Meron tried to find Prince, because he could not be reached by phone. Andrew heard screaming and went to them and called 911 after seeing Prince dead in the elevator. The sheriff stated in a press conference that he believed he had been dead for approximately 4 hours, because of the pooling of blood, when he was found. The description of clothing from the medical examiner's office matches what he was photograped in the night before at Walgreens. The doctor he had seen Wednesday also showed up with test results from the previous day, but police were already on the scene.

This is the first I heard of there being a pool of blood. Does accidental overdoses do that?

Welcome home class. We've come a long way. - RIP Prince

They meant pooling of blood within the body - not that he was lying in a puddle of blood.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

The pooling of blood is called Lividity. That happens when circulation ceases and the blood inside the body starts to gather in the body that is closest to the "ground" or in direct reflection of gravity...so if he died in on his back, his back, back of legs, etc - whatever part of the body was in contact with the ground would be discolored because the blood has settled.

The discoloration usually starts to happen within 30 minutes but fixed lividity occurs usually 6 hours plus after circulation stops.

I am still in denial here....my mind is splitting off like he (and my sister) is still here in the physical. I believe it's going to take me at least a decade before I will accept it.
