Bremer Trust, Heirs and Tidal-- Would That Be Nice to Drop a Suprise Album on Us

Prince was always full of surprises. It would be great if those surprises continued after his death. He has many completed albums in the vault. I also think that Prince has an album that was specifically made to be released upon his death. Wouldn't it be nice to wake up one morning and have an entire new album on Tidal?

Be nicer if you didn't need tidal to get it.
Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

The dust is FAR from being settled, expect nothing until that happens. I think we are talking years.

I think that you are right. I also think that is a shame.

His references to "May you live to see The Dawn" and his references in interviews that he was saving his best material for The Dawn. Prince was looking forward to the day he achieved everlasting life and he sung about it so much in life that I think that it is more than just speculation that he would have planned for an album after his death.

I don't think Prince has a specific "death" album, but I do believe he had finished, sequenced albums ready to go. Whether those are HNR Phase Three or even Atlanta Piano & Microphone 4/14/15, there's something DONE that he was in the process of releasing.

His own brother-in-law said he was working in the studio nonstop right up until he died.

Not to mention other completely finished, sequenced projects that are probably in there like Roadhouse Garden.

But I agree with other posts, that it will be a little time before we see anything. It hasn't even been 2 months yet . . .

I agree. The estate should totally do that.
